I suggested this last week. Steph destroying Charlotte in game 4 at home would be great

D'Angelo says Kobe helped to get his mind right before the game, telling him "You've got to just play."

Kobe said he talked to D'Angelo Russell earlier in the day. "All I can do is my best Yoda impersonation… One day pass this shall.

Looks like ATL is your team if you just want to watch close games.
e: I read that wrong, I think it's MIN that has the closest (on average) games on that chart

By diehard Go To Postsorry but there is no way OKC averages losing by 1 point in 22 losses.I don't think it is going off by final score but what the point differential was during any point in a game. It is saying that in any game that OKC lost, the score was close throughout the course of the game.
Or consistently blowing leads (resulting in a loss but with a positive margin) to pair up with normal losses where you are losing for most of the game. Either way.

Lebetard was basically roasting sports media for making as large of a deal out of it as they did. Called out SAS a little. It's completely odd to see how social media has changed things. Everyone all at once is able to rage and rage and feed of that. A day later it's like ... man was that all worth it?
Dude looked wrecked at his presser. I think he and the team will be fine though. I didn't see anything really odd between him, clarckson, randle or nance last night. Lou and Swaggy need to be traded anyway.
"I don't want to get into my personal life right now," Young said in his appearance at the team's press conference. "I think it's best me and D'Angelo handle the situation we have in a private matter, outside of the media. I think it's something we do need to sit down and talk about and that's about it. What happened is what happened. We've got to work on it."
thats about as serious as I've ever seen Nick tbh
when D'Lo wakes up on plane to arms tying him down from behind as Nick slaps him in the face over and over he needs to just accept that shit so this thing can die down
If Iggy left me over this shit, me and Russell would shoot the fair one every time I saw him.
Just got banned from GAF again, the OT mods be on some bullshit.

I mean shit, Kobe and Shaq won rings together and comments just like these really drove a wedge between them. It wasn't a small thing, Dlo was setting Nick up the whole time and basically made sure it got out by either mailing it to show a friend or leaking it himself. I am sure the team will get rid of Nick and Lou and people will play on but they will never forget that dick move and will turn on him when the chips are down...

I'm not condoning what he did. I'm agreeing with Lebetard that the media reaction to this was insane. Right now all we know is that it wasn't his intention to make it public. If it was an accident, your portrayal of the scenario is just that, your hyperbolic portrayal. If it comes out that D'lo intentionally uploaded this to make it public, then I would agree he deserves the blasting he got. There's no logical reason for him to do this purposefully though. If it wasn't intentional, let the kid learn from this mistake. The only person in the entire world who should be as upset as everyone got yesterday is Nick Young. SAS's rants was ridiculous and riddled with misogyny as an example.
Honestly I see D'lo's shit as the result of crap ass leadership and inability to mentor the youngins.

He'd be better off just admitting he did it and was a dumbfuck about the repercussions of said actions. Trying to half-apologize and make excuses just makes him look even more like a punk.
"It was bush league, in my opinion," Durant said Thursday following shootaround. "Jumping up and down, running around. I understand you're happy you won the game, but our whole team didn't play. We would've beat the hell out of them if it did."
Durant, along with Serge Ibaka, didn't play against Pistons due to planned rest, so he was unavailable to reporters following the game Tuesday.
"I wanted to play against Detroit, for sure, but you know, it's Detroit," Durant said. "Who cares about Detroit?"

“We don’t have any sense of urgency,” Beal told reporters after the game. “To me, it felt like we just gave up.”
The Wizards defeat versus the Kings was the team’s fourth loss in their last five games.
“If guys don’t want to play, they need to sit down,” he said. “We just do dumb mental lapses and just mess up the game, and it ends up hurting us in the long run.”
Everybody’s a grown-ass man, either you want to play, or you don’t,” he continued.

Right. It seems like it wasn't intentional and he owned up to everything. Intention make a huge difference here IMO. It's easier to forgive if harm was never meant.
Like I said, if it comes out that he meant to leak the vid and make it public, he deserves the public crucifixion he got.
I kinda agree with 33million too. Not that D'lo doesn't deserve the blame, he does. I just wonder how this would have played out if we had a coach who took active involvement in the lives of our rookies and understood social media. Scott is a fucking dinosaur.

The 2016 version of the Los Angeles Lakers organization has already proven that it lacks any passion for winning, developing young talent, or being anything more than a traveling circus: a Washington Generals–esque vessel for Kobe Bryant’s LA County–sized ego. But now, with a 16-59 record, we have finally found something that stirs their hearts, unites them with purpose, and makes them care: “The Bro Code.”
With fewer than 10 games left in the season, talented 20-year-old rookie D’Angelo Russell is being shunned like Hester Prynne—literally shunned—because he videoed 30-year-old teammate—and self-described mentor—Nick “Swaggy P” Young talking about his hook-up with a 19-year-old woman at a club. Young, an absurdly unserious facsimile of a pro basketball player, is engaged to the absurdly unserious facsimile of a hip-hop artist Iggy Azalea. If Kobe Bryant is this team’s unsmiling Il Duce, Swaggy & Iggy are their prom king and homecoming queen. Young was also accused of sexual harassment last month—along with another very promising young player Jordan Clarkson who one assumes Swaggy was also mentoring—and few in the team or in the media seemed to notice or care. This is the odiously infantile carnival that’s been tasked with developing D’Angelo Russell.
Smith is not alone. He’s just the loudest voice in a public shaming that feels like it exceeds any case of sexual assault or violence against women that the sports world has produced. Peyton Manning must be somewhere wiping his ample forehead saying, “Maybe I spent years trying to destroy a woman’s life for accusing me of sexual harassment, but thank God I didn’t break the Bro-Code!”http://www.thenation.com/article/the-lakers-can-kindly-shove-their-bro-code/

If Russell—who, again, has apologized endlessly since the video surfaced—has acted immaturely, that’s just the environment where he goes to work every day. The Lakers had better not be so far gone, so irredeemably stupid that they are actually talking about trading D’Angelo Russell. They should instead release almost every other player in that locker room and thank Russell that he didn’t quit the team six months ago to join a real circus.
I said goddamn. That article roasted Swaggy and SAS and the Lakers org. Jaysus.
