His movimentation to be just onside, then mugged the keeper, nice finishing.
Think Juve will regret letting him go. He's very intelligent.
he wanted to leave, we didn't bin him.
At least you can say this in 4 months time dutch boys:
"We beat the european champions at their home ground!"

By Willkiller Go To PostwatPretty much none of the England players showed anything decent. Lallana, Walker, Vardy did decent. Forster mostly blameless. But the rest were pretty run of the mill.
I took both those terrible bets for Kane and De Jong and Gomez and Pelle to both score. Get my money back on both lol. what a dumb special
Drinkwater DM no
Milner in the squad no
Sturridge in the first 11 no
Stones no
Drinkwater did okay, but it's a waste of his attributes playing him that far back. And if you want the best of Barkley, he needs someone close to him to give him the ball. When there's a 40 yard gap between defensive and offensive units, and Milner is the one bridging it, you're fucked.
Hopefully Hodgson isn't planning on actually employing some of those decisions at the tournament.

Vintage Ronaldo on display today, hopefully his current form continues until the end of the season.
Kroos scoring again, did he play deep or was he allowed to play up front again? With the introduction of Casemiro in the starting 11, I think Kroos should be allowed to move up front, like he does for Germany.

By Spengo Go To PostThat average team made England sober up real quick.Like Liverpool, there are certain players and aspects that drag down my confidence in the team.
Play the same line-up and setup as the Germany game, and we'll be fine.

I think it's the same players as well. No Lallana or Milner pls.
Listening to people trying to persuade others, and presumably themselves, that BvS was good. Logic is as follows:
• Marvel quip memes mean Marvel films are not good
• BvS has no quip memes
• Therefore, BvS is good.
It's modus tollens, innit. (I think. I mean, I've been drinking so I don't know)

By Freewheelin Go To Postimagine being jamie vardy and playing with mahrez at leicester
and then coming into the england side and playing with walcott in the same position
He has spent most of his career in the lower leagues. I am sure he is used to it.
Hart; Clyne, Cahill, Smalling, Bertrand; Dier, Drinkwater; Welbeck, Alli, Sterling; Kane
Bring Vardy on when one of the front four tire. Bring Henderson or Barkley on to pack midfield. Leave Rooney to die in the hot Parisian sun.

take from that what you will
I see birthday boy Kante and Vardy scored. I want a team full of them at every position. What a week for the two of them.
And then Payet does as he's been doing. I think he's going to catch Mahrez for POTY.

Welbeck's always performed for England, plays better out wide than Vardy does, and Vardy would be better off the bench than Welbeck.

What a man.
I could say the exact same thing about Sturridge. While at Chelsea he would have glimpses of greatness sprinkled in with the largely wasteful, imprudent and selfish play and could never lock down a role with us. He's grown by leaps and bounds since joining LFC, and I think that has more to do with him maturing as a young man, and not so much as a player. The talent has always been there. I think perhaps Welbeck is also coming into his own now and is growing up. Took long enough though :P
Welbeck has a chronic knee problem
please keep him out of the starting 11 of any international games
thanks
