CJ Prosise is a player that Carroll and Bevell are going to be able to move all over the place in different formations with Rawls and Michael in the backfield. He hits the hole quickly with pace, but also really excels at slowly moving out wide behind blockers and then bursting forward. Excellent hands too which is reflected in his numbers last year where he missed the backend of the season because of injury.
He could be a career role player, like a slower less dynamic version of Darren Sproles, or he could be the next Arian Foster. Regardless, he's fallen into a perfect situation in Seattle where exceptions are going to be well in check and he's going to be allowed to develop. At 90th overall he was great value!

I can understand the Bears cutting Rolle, but not Slauson. I have heard that it was due to health concerns and not a scheme fit. If it's not health related I don't get it. Slauson was very good last year and can play center and guard. Pace must be really confident in Whitehair. It means jack shit but many experts had the Bears having one of the best drafts. I would have preferred a CB in the first round as Willie Young and Lamar Houston combined for over 13 sacks last year. But hey if Floyd was BPA then you take him.

Perriman will meet with Dr. James Andrews next week to determine if he needs surgery, but is likely done for the year. It's another huge blow for the Ravens after Perriman lost his entire rookie season to a torn PCL. Perriman's injury should lock Steve Smith, Mike Wallace, and Kamar Aiken in as Baltimore's top three receivers.

Optimism has been building since Monday when renowned surgeon Dr. James Andrews determined Perriman did not suffer a significant tear. Perriman underwent arthroscopic surgery on Tuesday and was also given a stem cell injection. Reconstructive surgery, which had been a possibility for Perriman, is no longer being considered. This is obviously great news for Baltimore, though Perriman remains completely unproven after missing his entire rookie year with a PCL injury. Players usually recover from knee scopes in 2-4 weeks, which puts Perriman on track to return sometime around the start of training camp next month.
