With that said, Robert is probably legitimately crazy. I love him, but he's literally got something wrong mentally. It's clear given everything he's done to sabotage his career in the name of pride.
I'm trying to read up on the Will Smith situation and... I'm missing something. There has to be more to it than what is reported because it sounds like the people had an accident, chased each other until they crashed again and then Will Smith was shot to death.
Blockbuster draft trade:
Rams get:
1st overall pick

Titans get:
2016 first round
2017 first round
2016 second round
2016 second round
2016 third round
2017 third round
You better hope Jared Goff is fucking amazing, Rams fans.

Feeling the pressure to perform with relatively new fan base
It's a great trade for both teams... Titans get the haul they need because they suck at so many positions and Rams get the franchise QB. If you think the Rams gave too much, keep in mind they still have a shitload of picks left from the RGIII trade.

The deal works out to two first rounders, two second rounders and two third rounders for a fourth rounder, a sixth rounder and a move up all the way up from No. 15 to the top spot. One of the second-round selections is the pick acquired in the Sam Bradford trade last year. With the top pick in hand, the Rams will almost certainly target either Cal's Jared Goff or North Dakota State's Carson Wentz, the top two quarterbacks in the draft. Despite consistently – and ridiculously – talking up Case Keenum this offseason, the Rams have finally taken the steps necessary to secure a true franchise quarterback. New Titans GM Jon Robinson said he wanted a "King's ransom" for the No. 1 overall pick, and he got it. All in all, the Titans landed two first rounders, two second rounders and two third rounders for the top overall selection, a fourth rounder and sixth rounder. Tennessee now has six picks in the top 76 of this year's draft and are set up to have five in the first two days of next year's draft. Robinson said all of that ammunition gives the team options. "This move does not knock us out of any player, except one," Robinson said. "We now have the ammunition to work the draft and acquire players that are going to be good for this football team." With so many early-round picks in the next two drafts, the Titans are in a great position to build a strong roster around sophomore quarterback Marcus Mariota.

ESPN's Mark Dominik believes a Colin Kaepernick-to-Denver deal is "done," and contingent only on the 49ers drafting a quarterback.
If Dominik's belief is correct, the trade would go down on draft day. A former NFL general manager, Dominik bases this belief on the fact that Kaepernick formally visited the Broncos' facility, and "you never let a player visit (another) club without (the) trade and contract already figured out." Dominik's theory makes sense, and he still has connections throughout the league. Unfortunately, we won't find out whether Dominik is right until April 28.
If it is Wentz, I have a hard time believing a D2 rookie will be successful. Playing QB in the NFL might be the most difficult job in sports.
It's an unbelievable trade for the Titans.
And it's only going to end one way for the Los Angeles Rams. :ClubberLangPain.gif

Luckily the Greats get old or get injured and have to retire and we get to fill their spots with either rookies or second stringers.
Eagles acquired the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 draft and a 2017 fourth-round pick from the Browns in exchange for the Nos. 8, 77, and 100 overall picks in the 2016 draft, a 2017 first-round pick, and a 2018 second-round pick.
As ESPN's Adam Schefter stated Wednesday morning, the Eagles wanted to get this deal done today. After the Rams traded up from No. 15 to first overall, rumors began swirling the Browns wanted to move out of No. 2. They move down six spots and get a gigantic haul to do so. At No. 2, the Eagles appear to be locking in on whichever quarterback the Rams don't choose, or they could be jumping the Cowboys at No. 4 for Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott. We'll know for sure next week. The Browns wanting to get out of the No. 2 pick was the worst kept secret this week. After signing Robert Griffin III to pair with Josh McCown in the quarterback room and then seeing the Rams trade up to No. 1 overall to presumably select Cal QB Jared Goff, the Browns made the decision to stockpile picks and move back six spots in the first round where they can still net an impact player. The Browns and 49ers now have 12 picks each in next week's draft.
that's the most eagles move ever. This is why im trying not to attach myself to franchises anymore.
and yet they still gave up 5 picks for it. Shit makes the fuckery that Kevin Costner did in Draft Day look reasonable.
Also a year ago they didn't trade up for Mariota, but they trade away a bunch of picks for presumably a D2 QB. This after they just signed 2 QBs

eagles def would have done that if they wanted
i will not doubt the stupidity of a team that gave away it's core after going 10-6, signing 2 QBs and then trading up to draft a 3rd.

Philly are out of their minds. Do they really want Elliott at #2 or whichever QB falls to them?
They've given Bradford starter money and have to play him at least this year. If the pick is a QB, why not just play him, lose and build for the future ala Tennessee?
Murray ended up being a huge mistake and now they're going to move up to take a back with a similar skill set? New system and all that but it's all so bizarre.

throw a dart at the top 5 capped teams in the league, someone will pay him close to his demand.
I get that you wanna get paid, but why are athletes these days so quick to leave a good situation?
From Superbowl contender to some trash team that's already scouting for next years #1 all because you want a few extra mil.

and he's 29. its his last big pay day... i ain't mad. get your money bruh. just ain't gonna be here. for 16 mil we can get two average cbs with hands and a safety that can play centerfield. that front 7 is more important

if I was playing this particular sport, all I would be doing is looking to get dumb paid while I can, too. us regular ass fans care much more about the super bowl than the majority of the players do, relatively speaking. i mean, the SB isn't guaranteed even if you are on a stacked squad.
you right. i keep thinking people give a shit about winning.
if the payday is significantly more then I agree, go get paid. If we're talking a few million extra then you don't need to pull a Sprewell. Idk how much Carolina was willing to pay Norman

11 million was their offer.
Well apparently my minority opinion is not wanted for awhile on another popular forum so slaent will be my new NFL discussion home. GO BEARS!
The Eagles want a QB because most of the stud QBs in the East are aged... Manning and Romo are in their mid 30s, and Kirk Cousins is Kirk Cousins... having a young "franchise" QB sets them up well in the Division, plus the plan is for the QB to sit for a year and learn. That being said, they gave up WAY too much for Tiny Hands Goff or Wentz (and I like Wentz).

It's Haynesworth all over again isn't it? Isn't it?
Good for him for knowing his value in the market though and sticking to it. His tag value with CAR was $15m for the upcoming season alone apparently.

what the fuck is the Carolina secondary gonna look like now? That was easily the shittiest part of the roster for years and they just let the only bright spot walk
