MGS5 Phantom Pain Special Mission Gameplay

I can't believe it's been like 7 years since a proper MGS title.

I'm getting a little tired of this series

I bought an MGS4-edition fat PS3 back in 2007 and I never actually played the game. I should probably get around to that before MGSV is released, :lol:

The original PS1 version is still one of my favorite games of all time.

There's so much variety in terms of gameplay that 20 minute video, getting my hopes up for MGS5.

As much as people hated on MGS4, I still thought it had some great moments, probably one of my favorites if not my favorite game that came out that year.

I used to love MGS. Completed them all. For some reason I can't get hyped about MGS V. I've had GZ since release day and have yet to fire it up. Maybe it'll kick in once full game releases.

The storyline goes like this:

Metal Gear Solid 3 - Naked Snake vs the Boss vs Russia.

Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker - Naked Snake becomes Big Boss, fights CIA in Costa Rica, builds Outer Haven.

Metal Gear Solid V - Big Boss invades Guantanamo Bay, it's a trap, goes nuts because the world is evil.

Metal Gear - Big Boss has his own country. Big Boss' clone, Solid Snake, is sent to kill him.

Metal Gear 2 - Solid Snake vs. Grey Fox.

Metal Gear Solid - Love on the battlefield.

Metal Gear Solid 2 - You have to be Raiden. Bill Clinton is secretly Dr. Octopus, tries to take over the internet with mechs piloted by Russian cowboys.

Metal Gear Solid 4 - Old Snake. The conspiracy turns out to be a conspiracy, except for the other conspiracy. Depressingly, in the real world over the next 6 years several elements of the ludicrous plot turn out to to be completely true.

Metal Gear Solid Rising - C-C-C-Combo!

Do NOT sleep on Peace Walker. Not only was it super fun to play, with bite size missions you can chew through in brief sittings, but its story is probably the most important leading into V, including most of the characters in Ground Zeroes.

same. MGS3 is the best game but MGS4 can be pretty awesome at times.
