Also what I generally do is cash out my marks for mats until I'm at or under 100 marks near the end of the week, so that my vanmark gains are 100% for the next week

If you do this you'll basically start having to delete mat stacks

eh. i only play with friends and most of them suck but so what. i'm only slightly above average myself.
i play for fun. i have never been to the lighthouse, not like i get anything good in there.

Also, TrueVanguard is one of my go-to youtube brehs when it comes to Destiny. His teaching style fits with Destiny (he acknowledges the changes after updates, emphasizes advantages of certain abilities and builds, and his map awareness is fucking dope). Once HoW came out, he started putting together build vids to focus on ability/weapon/armor synergies and how best to capitalize off of them.

This Defender build in particular made my life in PvP with the Titan much, much easier as I almost always used my bubble for nothing but static defense over objectives (which isn't wrong by any means). This way of aggressively taking high traffic areas was brand new to me tbh. Shit stronk. Worth checking out imo as well as his other stuff.

Yeah once 'Defender' clicks it's so fun to use. I actually haven't mained running a Striker build in months. Defender just that good. Add in Blind Dome and you can be the buff/debuffer your team needs, but doesn't deserve

I've been handicapping quite a bit in PvP lately too. Shit is rough going trying to finish leveling this Warlock (haven't even started on Sunslinger yet either lol). I'm actually starting to kind of like the Glide a bit too. Its not really meant to be used directly/aggressively like the Hunter's vertical abilities encourage. You can pretty much get your spacing and disorient generally well off of it. Jumping back or to the side around obstacles. With jump-sniping actually becoming a thing, its actually kinda dope.

And everyone should be afraid of jump-sniping. Its that new shit. Fuck a Last Word. Its rare as hell to see, but goddamn the idea of this hidden shit coming to life and the new NLB buffs have me scared as hell.

Either way, I'm coming around on the Warlock some. Wish I had the Nothing Manacles in order to be a proper explosion spamming space wizard, but I'm getting there. And playing on hard-mode is definitely knocking the rust off.

balance in ToO is fine tho. all you need is a thorn and a decent sniper or shotgun and they aren't hard to find.
i don't mind using just 1-2 weapons. it's a fun mode.

If I never see another Thorn again it'll be too soon. Only gun in the game that will legitimately force you to change how you play. I hope it gets nerfed into a sidearm. Tired of all the Sunsinger revive stuff too.

I love the game mode though. Kinda happy they brought it to the normal crucible rotation too.

i play with a hawkmoon or a messenger, both are more than fine for dominating ToO. actually there aren't even that many thorns. i see more The Last Words. Thorn is just the easiest to get.

Its not even that. I'm just tired of having to pack my bags and run each time I encounter Thorn's chunk damage + DoT. If you get hit one time, you either have to pull an amazing play out of your ass (rare) or you're forced to fall the hell back unless you're cool with throwing your life away every encounter.

Its not the 1 on 1 either. A smart player with a Thorn is basically just marking you for the other team. You're a free kill after you get hit with 1 headshot. God help you if they're actually communicating. Dudes can basically discuss wabbit hunting with each other as your tic damage constantly gives away position too.

No other gun in the game does that. Just rather not even deal with it. I've got my own and don't even use it.

Yea I only use Thorn as an assist machine. No use in trying to get the kill yourself, just roll with 1 or 2 other people and try and hit as many enemies as possible. Makes everyone's life easier.

Nothing makes a person flinch harder than getting hit with the green screen.

Crucible is easily the best way to power level. If/When you decide to make a second class, that's probably the best way to get shit done.

i got my 2nd and 3rd char to 20 in under 4 hours i think.

The biggest hurdle after that is equipment. And I REALLY let my innate hate for all things warlock come back to bite me lol. I wouldn't even keep the Hardonic Essence or whatever and now I'm really paying for it.

You COULD but I'd wait until TTK drops in two months if you're feeling reserved. I think HoW is much, much better than TDB and the story is like... actually somewhat entertaining and shit to boot.

It depends on the reasons you got burnt out on Destiny tbh. If you're like and you've seen it all since day 1, or simply feel like you have, then kick back and wait for the next batch of big updates to hit. If you want to reintroduce yourself in some varying degree before then, HoW is a dope investment. Most of what's offered can be appreciated solo too.

Also, think I found a weapon combo that suits my style: One/One Synesthete (Legendary II) Scout Rifle. Upped my stick sensitivity to a 9 and playing better.

I didn't like my Legendary AR much. Recoil was too strong.

rolls for better perks. people generally roll for perks right when they get a gun and then keep it that way.

my scout Noblesse for example, i rolled 4 times to get Explosive Rounds and Firefly.

Re-rolling can get you exactly what you want out of a weapon.

I picked up legendary handcannon a while back. Had some useless perk that would give me a full clip after a super and some other trash. I spent some cash to re-roll and ended up with speed reload, icarus (increased accuracy when airborne), and better hip fire accuracy

so basically it can takes what would be your 1 legendary drop per blue moon and eliminates the odds of you having to throw it in the bushes because the perks are trash.
