FIBA boscoring is really inconsistent.
Gobert looked skinny vs the Gasol bros. Spain will hurt team USA since they can control pace with their guards, and will back-cut USA's pressure all game. I don't expect USA to change their lineup when/if they meet Spain, but I expect the minutes that players have been getting to change.

Some nice stories about Gobert though.
Not sure why. Lauvergne has been playing better. I don't think Gobert makes the French team in 2015 or 2016 (if they qualify), with the returns of Noah and Seraphin.

Brock Motum (had NFI he had signed with Utah) is looking decent too. Can't imagine him being used very often considering their depth though. Plus he has no chin

He looked better, even hit a three. Still tries to force things and I don't think he's a point guard. Plus it was Angola and the boomers were tanking so I wouldn't take much from it. Brock Motum looked more impressive, effortlessly hitting three threes.
The best part of the game was the Angolan centre who is a senior at some college, who scored 23 in the quarter, ended with 38 and at one point was 16/21 fgs.

What a role reversal for France. Spain was their big hurdle that they could never overcome, and now they are beating on the regular. Definitely a rivalry most don't know about.
