Two things...
1) RT @Marmel: CNN: "No robbery report filed in #Ferguson against #MichaelBrown." So why did #DarrenWilson kill him? http://t.co/gErbsXLDCy
2) McDonald's claims that people rushed into the store to grab milk after they were tear gassed, won't file any charges against people. Meanwhile, Ferguson Police claims they tear gassed the people in the McDonalds because they were "looting":

"because what is tear gas really? /smirk" but yeah. obama really actually surprised me with his talk on this today.
edit: when people say tear gas, they're referring to CS most likely.

The cops booted AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL out of Ferguson. This is beyond ridiculous. How is this shit not under control? Like what is it going to take to get resolved, full on violent conflict?
I got tear gassed by the French army back in 2008, when we were protesting against changes in the way french universities were financed and organized. Sure sucks. But the beating I took the next day was worse.
My full support for protesters in Ferguson. History in front of our eyes. I was a part of the demonstrations against stop&frisk in NY, it always is so crazy that police violence is so intense in the US.

I compiled all the available testimony for a post on some other site, here is what it ended up looking like:
If I have anything incorrectly described let me know and I'll change it
If there are any other testimonies which I forgot let me know and I'll add them
But for the most part the only testimony that is not anything like the others is Wilson's. Of the two most relevant witnesses (Wilson and Dorian), for the most part Dorian's version seems to be backed up the most, while parts of Wilson's testimony seems to be at extreme odds with what pretty much every witness is saying happened.
Wilson's account of the events. Told by a friend of his wife, but sources have said that it is identical to what Wilson is saying
Dorian Johnson's version of the events

Wilson's account of the events. Told by a friend of his wife, but sources have said that it is identical to what Wilson is saying
- Wilson told Brown and Dorian to get out of the street, they refused
- He may or may not have called for back-up at this point
- He pulled his car ahead of them and gets a call that someone stole some cigars.
- He notices Mike has what may be stolen cigars
- He opens his car door, one of the young men slams the door closed, believed to be Mike
- He opens his door again and stands up, Mike bum rushes him and punches him
- Wilson goes for his gun, Mike grabs it and at one point has it turned at Wilson's hip and Wilson shoves it away and it goes off
- Mike and Dorian begin to run
- They get 35 feet away and Wilson yells "Freeze!"
- Mike and Dorian turn around
- Mike begin to taunt Wilson "What are you gonna do?" "You're not gonna shoot me."
- Mike then bum rushes Wilson a 2nd time Wilson then opens fire
- Mike continues to rush at him while being hit
- Wilson believes Mike was "on something"
- The last shot was to Mike's forehead which finally stopped him and he collpased 2-3 feet in front of Wilson
Dorian Johnson's version of the events
- He and Mike were walking down the street
- Wilson pulled up and said "Get the fuck on the sidewalk"
- They told the officer that they were about a minute from their destination and they'd be out of the street
- Wilson went on his way for a moment
- Wilson then reversed his car that almost hit Mike and Dorian, blocking both lanes
- Wilson threw his door open, but he was so close to Dorian and Mike that it hit them and flung back shut
- Wilson became upset at that point
- Wilson then reaches out of the window and grabs Mike's neck
- Mike tries to get away, Wilson then grabs him by the arm
- Wilson draws his weapon says "I'll shoot you" and the first shot goes off
- 'He' is shot and is bleeding
- Mike and Dorian run
- Dorian hid and Mike kept running
- Mike implored Dorian to run for his life
- Office gets out of the car and pursued Mike with his gun drawn
- He shot again and Mike turns around with his hands up
- Wilson continues to fire
- Dorian then runs away from the scene
Tiffany Mitchell's testimony of the events
- Arrived when Brown and Wilson were tussling through the window of the cruiser
- Looked like Brown was pulling away and WIlson was trying to pull him in
- A shot was fired through the window, Mike and Dorian take off
- Wilson gets out of the vehicle and follows Mike while shooting
- Mike's body jerks as if he were hit
- Mike turns around and puts his hands up, Wilson continues to fire until Mike Collapses

When Mike was on the ground Wilson fired on him some more
yo fuck... That seems to be consistent with the autopsy report.
Wilson then walked up to his downed body and fired more while he was downWhen Mike was on the ground Wilson fired on him some more
yo fuck… That seems to be consistent with the autopsy report.
I'm not sure if those are gonna end up being accurate. From all the photos Brown was face down and the autopsy said almost all of the wounds most definitely entered Brown while he was facing the officer. The autopsy also said no gun powder residue was present on Brown's body (his clothes haven't been tested as far as I know just yet) so he was almost certainly shot at medium distance, from what I read that puts Wilson 20-30 feet away from Brown. It calls into question Wilson's report that Brown collapsed 2-3 feet in front of him.
Anyway, regarding shooting Brown while he was down, unless Wilson shot Brown and then flipped him on his stomach I don't think those will hold up with further evidence.
The problem for Wilson is the entry wound on Brown's arm is consistent with the report that he was hit with his back to Wilson. Also the other wounds, like the one that entered his palm, is consistent with someone with their hands up surrendering. Since Browns wounds are mostly forward facing and the eyewitness reports say Wilson unloaded a few rounds at Wilson while they faced each other, with Brown's hands up...
All I really want to know is Wilson's definitive story from his lawyer or Wilson himself, if there are any prints on Wilson's patrol car/holster/firearm from Brown and where. If Brown never touched his equipment near his waist or his weapon then that would pretty much confirm that Wilson's story needs to be disregarded wholesale.

Okay, yes. What I meant were special squad units which were trained to specialize in the suppression of civil disturbances. Specialized training, equipment, and even funding of such. You are right to correct me about SWAT specifically.

RT @ShaunKing: Minutes after Darren Wilson murdered Mike Brown, a very, very effective cover-up plan began to protect Wilson & shame Mike Brown.
RT @ShaunKing: We've labored for weeks to show you the almost unbelievable connections between @RoordaJ & @GovJayNixon and how they've failed miserably.
RT @ShaunKing: Minutes after Darren Wilson killed Mike Brown, he was advised by his union rep not to make a statement or complete any accounts of the day.
RT @ShaunKing: Today, I want to methodically break down and expose one key LIE they told & we all accepted just hours after the shooting. Here goes...
RT @ShaunKing: At 1:13 in this video, the chief tells his first lie, an essential one, to protect Darren Wilson. http://t.co/c0oFGeXXZx
RT @ShaunKing: In that video, the Chief says it was 35 feet from the window of Wilson's car to where Mike Brown was killed. This was a DELIBERATE lie.
RT @ShaunKing: An officer is allowed, expected even, to use force, when in danger, when as much as 25-35 feet away. Mike Brown was ONE HUNDRED feet away.
RT @ShaunKing: Darren Wilson and the police, fully aware that Mike Brown was well outside of that distance, attempted to make up their own facts.
RT @ShaunKing: Following, based on crime scene photos, physical evidence, and people in Ferguson at this very moment we will expose the lie. What a mess.
RT @ShaunKing: Here is Darren Wilson's SUV IMMEDIATELY after the shooting. That's Mike's sandal 15 feet behind it. http://t.co/zttm29qbOr
RT @ShaunKing: Here is the same SUV, it didn't move, from the other angle, showing you Mike Brown's fitted hat next to it. http://t.co/3hA761PuCa
RT @ShaunKing: Here we measured the physical distance, in person, at Ferguson. Mike was killed OVER 100 feet away from the SUV. http://t.co/XUrX38lTek
RT @ShaunKing: Here is where the construction worker said he saw Mike Brown run at least 90 feet away. Not 30. http://t.co/vgKVRQcPYL

That non-indictment is so fucked up I can't even agree with the people saying rioting is not the answer. If the justice system is that broken then why the hell wouldn't you act outside it to bring about change? Because those peaceful protests and lobby groups don't seem to be making it not-okay to shoot kids.

I'll play devils advocate.
I think it would be hard to indict the officer, as a jury/judge/prosecutor based on all the evidence they received. The coroners report was at best, in-conclusive to either side. At worst, it supported the officers version.
Witnesses versions changing and conflicting witness reports.....
Now, if you want to question the validity of the report / information received... that's an entirely different thing.
I think people may be glossing over the real issue here, the public in large sections of ferguson have lost all faith in police. That's worrying. There would appear to be genuine racial issues in ferguson that have gone un-addressed for a long time. There's also the un-addressed and being ignored issue of the militirisation of police forces in America. Something that goes against the core of what a police force is meant to be about.

Right now, there is little that anyone has said that has phased me. "Touched" me if you will.
I have not said anything about Ferguson because there is nothing I can think of that will serve my feelings justice without betraying my God. I'm not praying for Ferguson, but for myself. The rage is real.

You have to expand on all of that because there's so much stuff in that post that you are purposefully being vague about.
Yea this specific case might be a bad example of police brutality. Who knows what it's like to be in that cop's position? There are much deeper issues that have to be confronted every time an overwhelmingly armed and impossibly opaque police presence uses deadly force against an unarmed black dude. This country has never outgrown its terribly racist past, it's just been swept away into a more insidious form. The police have a frightening amount of power over us and most people are too bored, dumb, frightened, or preoccupied just living their lives to notice and care.
There is a shitload of pent up anger about the economic fuckover that has taken place since the mid 90s and some of that feeling is going to spill into the streets in the form of violent protest. I'm not sure I can condemn that.

police have been killing and beating unarmed black men forever... it's just recently getting media attention.
This type of case has happened so often it is getting harder and harder to tell the difference in a "good" kill and one from police brutality...

I have not said anything about Ferguson because there is nothing I can think of that will serve my feelings justice without betraying my God. I'm not praying for Ferguson, but for myself. The rage is real.
You have to expand on all of that because there's so much stuff in that post that you are purposefully being vague about.
Have you not seen the hatred trailer?

I don't have anything inspiring to say about Ferguson.
Kenny Smith's response to Charle's comments on Ferguson

Charles Barkley caused a stir Tuesday with comments to CNN on the riots in Ferguson following the death of teenager Michael Brown and the acquittal of the police officer who fired the fatal shots. Barkley, who had previously referred to looters in the town as "scumbags", told CNN on the topic of police brutality: "There is a reason that they racially profile us in the way they do."
Barkley's comments did not sit well with Kenny Smith, his co-worker on TNT's Inside on NBA. In an open letter published at For the Win, Smith deconstructed Barkley's comments and offered his own opinion on what's happening in Ferguson:
The body of work that our Black Civil Rights leaders put in by planning, executing and activating does not justify you being in the conversation. While your body of work on the court very few compare to nor should be mentioned when you are giving your expert analysis. Again, I respect that you have an opinion on Ferguson. And here’s mine.
The question must be asked: Why is there so much distrust in the police and the legal system from the African American community? Without manifesting what the effects of slavery still have today, Dec 1st still marks only 59 years since Rosa Parks sat on that memorable bus. Many of our parents and grandparents have lived through those times and have passed those stories on to all of us. Those civil rights changes were at one time the law! They were not illegal.
Read the letter in its entirety. Barkley and Smith are scheduled to appear on air together Thursday night on TNT before the network's Thursday night double-header.
