Trader Cho gets a legit 3 and D wing to help mitigate the loss of MKG for the price of a bench warmer and a knucklehead

Brian Roberts from the Hornets
By reilo Go To PostCharlotte coulda used a Justise Winslow type with MKG's injuries. No we couldn't. Winslow is Dahntay Jones rn
By PSYCH! Go To Postremember when i told you that Riles wants to win ASAP because the grim shadow of death now lingers over him, like that dyed blonde hair he had for a couple of years? That Riles was going to make a series of myopic moves because he won't go down without one more ring, especially if he can get it and keep lebron from getting his cleveland ring (well, the last part i just added but you know that shit is true)?
I thought i told you psych, riles is going all in and no fucks given about what happens in the rubble he will most assuredly leave behind when he finally retires.
now someone, please tell me if Roberts can shoot or is Riley just trying to corner the market in Roberts
Er so looks like Memphis is getting 4 2nds, 2 each from Charlotte and Miami. One of those is top 56 protected though.
3 second rounders for a fukin roleplayer?
fuck that--ship our dudley, sessions, hump, all them scrubs asap

Per Chris Herrington, picks Memphis gets:
Miami 2017 2nd if top 40 (otherwise 2018)
Charlotte 2018
Brooklyn 2019
Boston 2019 (top 56 protected)

By Moris Go To PostLol So Charlotte did lose after all?
Memphis just stole.
Yeah, surprised they ended up with 4 (well, more like 3) 2nds for a pending FA.
For CLT, probably worth it. Lee will slot in as an immediate starter and probably defend the best wing player on the opposing team. Kemba/Lee/Batum/Marvin/Zeller with Lin/Lamb/Hawes/Frank off the bench is a frisky group (and who knows, maybe we move Big Al in a separate deal or his contributions in mid-late March are gravy). Given the way the East is falling apart, probably good for a 5 or 6 seed.
Oh, Brian Roberts has made 9 3pts at 33% this season?
riles better Mike Piazza this guy into another trade

By Fenderputty Go To PostCan we turn Roy Hibbert's expiring into two second round picks Mitch?
lol Hibbert got no value in the league today
By Zeus Ex Machina Go To PostWe're not going to talk about SVG just robbed Orlando?what's new?
By Red Blaster Go To Postuhh yeah i dont knowGood for detroit. Weird for Orlando.
harris's advanced $tat$ overrate him a little, he only scores in transition and on backdoor cuts to the rim plus he's not a floor spacer. that said, he's still a solid asset. jennings was pretty good before he got hurt but he's a fa this summer and so is illyasova so this is basically a salary dump? no idea whats happening but i guess frye will be moved in another deal.
i guess we plan to match fournier in rfa?
I assume Jennings will be bought out, he's not getting any playing time.
In the year 2020, Cyborgs roam the earth, fulfilling the roles humans have left behind. A toxic layer of gasses hang like a halo over most modern cities. The people travel underground. Children are being born with faint forms of telekinesis. China is the world's largest auto manufacturer. The North American presidency is decided by dance-off. All Pro Sports are now run by the casinos, and the Brooklyn Nets have a draft pick.
Goodbye CLee...
But hey, I ain't mad nor surprised about this trade. Seems like it was mostly made to acquire assets, which from what I understand MEM has very little of.
But the team's FG percentage gonna suffer tho, argh :(

Are people seriously highly valuing second round picks in here? Like only five out of thirty turn into anything playable in a good draft.
By Kibner Go To PostAre people seriously highly valuing second round picks in here? Like only five out of thirty turn into anything playable in a good draft. They're valuable. Particularly when you get a lot of them.
But they're also good as trade fillers for other acquisitions.

If Orlando bought Jenning out the Knicks would scoop him up so fast. Also I am waiting to see what Phil does. These Teague or nothing rumors just seem uncharacteristic from what I've seen from Phil.
I'm guessing that Roberts is going to be trade filler for another move because he makes zero fucking sense on this heat roster. He can't shoot for shit and the heat need shooters desperately.
Though now i wonder if they rid themselves of Hassan if they think that Bosh isn't a certain thing. Fuck, that would be the worst if they stuck with that knucklehead because they didn't know if Bosh can keep going or not

Who wants Any combination of Lou Williams, Nick Young, Brandon Bass, Roy Hibbert, Ryan Kelly for a some 2nd rounders?

ESPN sources say Hornets and Rockets have discussed a potential Dwight Howard-to-Charlotte trade but have not managed to find workable deal

It's still a real possibility. As I said last week, #Hornets are very interested. There is pressure on front office.

Birdman, TA, Zbo, Barnes. All in Memphis. Find out what happens when people stop being polite and start getting real… The Real World:901
33% from three is barely 2% more than what Gerald Green is shooting for the heat already from three.
i'll let you take that in for a moment

Brooklyn even gave up picks from 2019?
obviously you've got to scout your ass off and develop the talent--but there's been enough guys popping up over the last five drafts to stop tossing them into the wind--Draymond, Jae Crowder, Khris Middleton, Will Barton, Clarkson, Chandler Parsons, Isaiah Thomas--just to name a few.
