Somebody get Carmelo some help, geez. Defense really going downhill in the 3rd and Knicks are getting not much from the bench.
Refs can be pretty shit but at the same time 3 fuckin' dudes aren't going to see everything. Get some stationary bros in those corners, they can line judge too.

Man it's physical out there, Celts going small taking KP out of the game. Knicks getting outhustled bigtime.
Knicks playing uninspired ball all night. Outside of Sasha, Galloway and RoLo no one else really showed up tonight.
Yikes KP wtf at that shot.

Yea it's nothing. He's gotten a bunch of defensive boards which is cool. But offensively he hasn't been able to bail them out of the stagnant offense Celtics have forced. This is the kind of game where Melo should be getting a semi-efficient 30 because the team is struggling running their offense.
yep Knicks got outworked in the last 3 minutes of the 3rd and now the 4th. Knicks bench outside of Sasha got killed and Knicks PnR D suffered.

Even with the poor O, this game came down to getting stops and hustle in the 3rd and 4th: Knicks couldn't do the former and didn't do enough of the latter. Turner and Zeller killed them down the stretch on the PnR.
EDIT: I wonder how much play the sitting of KP will get in the papers. He wasn't in foul trouble and though RoLo was playing well it's not like you couldn't play them both.

I still from time to time joyously recall some Boston fan berating me on twitter on how Smart could easily go from a 36.7% shooter to mid 40s. He is now 35.9% for the season.

The games I watched where they both do well is nice, especially when they're slamming down a miss by the other.

I haven't watched the Celtics or Marcus Smart that much, so I don't know about his particular case.

Has any guard who played over 20 mpg improved their shooting by 10% in 1 season ever?

The LA Times reports: 'People close to the Lakers' organization think this season’s final 2½ months are a trial of sorts. It would help Scott’s chances if the young players showed growth and the games were more competitive.is this why i just saw D'angelo smiling during warm ups just now?

As crazy as this sounds...Calderon is actually needed to set the tempo and flow of the offense. Without him, we've been shit executing.
By Kabro Go To Posti missed it, what's the gist?
THey asked him about his recent performance. He couldn't give specifics when questioned. Just kept saying he felt like he was no longer improving and his attitude looked kinda flat. Took the blame though.
Damian Lillard is one of six players since 2003 to score 6,000 points in their first four seasons (Anthony, James, Wade, Durant, Griffin).
Damian Lillard is one of five NBA players with 1,000+ points and 300+ assists this season (J. Harden, K. Lowry, I. Thomas, R. Westbrook).meh
By 33MillionDollarMen Go To PostThere a reason they don't get much play together sometimes? The games I watched where they both do well is nice, especially when they're slamming down a miss by the other. Not really... Fisher has a tendency to take 1 out if the opposing team goes small and he thinks KP can't keep up. The thing is Celtics weren't really killing KP going small so taking out 1 wasn't needed. Now KP wasn't having a scoring impact or a noticeable defensive impact but he contributed to Olynyk and Zeller picking up fouls. To me it seemed like a thing where he thought other guys were playing better/defended better, which I don't think was the case (Thomas and DWill weren't killing it out there).
By Moris Go To PostGod damn, LA might have a chance tonight. The Wolves are really, really bad this year. I'm not even really sure what the issue is because Wiggins, Towns, and Muhammad have all been putting up good numbers, with LaVine taking a step up from years past.
