By etiolation Go To Postyou're so dumb sometimes reiloAre we forgetting Zach's multiple 20/10 seasons on some shitty ass teams that never made it to the playoffs and his knucklehead behavior?
I'd also appreciate it if you don't call anyone dumb, including me.
People have discussed over and over how Cousins numbers are HoF level and how the Kings record with him vs without him is vastly different, and how the line-ups with Cousins perform well. I could have responded with all of that AGAIN, but I am tired of pointing out how it's dumb to say that if people are going to choose to be dumb and keep saying it.
the thing that gets me is the kings getting beat out by lillard and a bunch of misfits in terms of overall record
Yea, those rock solid 25-30 wins he's been a part of each season are sure something. Even Kevin Garnett during his prime on some shitty ass Minnesota teams managed 32+ wins. Rosters that were far inferior to what Cousins is paired with.
By Dark PhaZe Go To Postthe thing that gets me is the kings getting beat out by lillard and a bunch of misfits in terms of overall recordI'm gonna go ahead and blame the organization more than Boogie. They've been rudderless for a long time.
Now that isn't to say that he hasn't played a role in making things miserable. But if he had been drafted by a stable, well-run organization I doubt we'd be having this conversation. I'd give up a ton to get him.
By Red Blaster Go To Postso teague removed all hawks paraphernalia from his instagram account…He seems like a solid backup PG, but he really shouldn't be a starter for a team with any sort of deep playoff aspirations. He's part of the same group of super fast, athletic PGs that can make poor decisions and isn't all that efficient that includes the likes of Eric Bledsoe, Zach LeVine, Austin Rivers, etc. Granted, he's a lot closer to Bledsoe than the other 2, but you shouldn't rely on that kind of player to lead your offense toward the end of the game. Really the only athletic PG that I'd want starting for my team would be Westbrook and that's because he's got such a great outside shot as well and is one of the best players in the league in clutch situations.
Edit: A 4 game suspension is a bit light for Griffin, but I think it would have been more had he not already sat out so much this year. He essentially suspended himself for a month anyway.
By Freedom = $1.05 Go To PostIf I was Karl I would just resign and walk away from this mess, just leave the Kings so publicly poisoned that they'll be scouring the dleague for a waterboy who has at least 20 hrs in the 2K league modeHe'd be walking away from 10 Million. No way he does that.
By etiolation Go To PostGriffin suspended 4 games and finedshould be more.
By Dipro Go To Postshould be more.they're going to say he's "100%" 4 games early so he gets suspended to save face. But truthfully he wasn't 100% until the 5th game. lol
By giririsss Go To PostHe'd be walking away from 10 Million. No way he does that.i admit i didn't know he would lose out on that contract paper if he resigned. Makes sense that he doesn't leave of his own accord, then
LeBron is top 5 dead or alive, according to ESPN. He has to be 5 exactly, unless ESPN wants those twitter meltdowns putting him over the likes of wilt, Kareem, Jordan, magic.
Not going to defend ESPN but they have always pushed the now narrative... And most likely with the all out blessing of the NBA
It makes sense from a business stance... instead of saying all of older products are way better than now.
LBJ and Curry being ranked what they are is just business more than respect

Boogie, Karl and the Kings are basically a shitty co-dependent relationship played out via NBA politics.
By reilo Go To PostI think the most egregious thing about their list is Timmy being behind Bird and Lebron.
I can understand that but I still would have Bird ranked above Timmy...
dipro thanks........... 3ds who win east to you papangu? what you think celtics need to improve 3ds....... i like you.,
By 33MillionDollarMen Go To PostBoogie, Karl and the Kings are basically a shitty co-dependent relationship played out via NBA politics.I think it's almost pointless to fire Karl at this point of the season because the plan would be replace him with Corliss Williamson aka big nasty and the roster isn't really talented enough to see a bounce back. Karl is done this year and so is Rondo... but most likely better to finish the season out

By blackace Go To PostI can understand that but I still would have Bird ranked above Timmy…Yikes
By PSYCH! Go To PostYikesI dunno. Bird was the do it all SF before they were around.
So how is a team supposed to actually build up much of anything if coaches get axed for not performing miracles with bum rosters?
By PSYCH! Go To PostYikesBird is most likely ranked above Timmy everywhere outside of SA...
I just think Bird was the better in most areas and more entertaining player. Once you get into top 10 a lot of it boils down to little things
By giririsss Go To PostI dunno. Bird was the do it all SF before they were around.during Bird's era SF was almost a waste position
By 33MillionDollarMen Go To PostSo how is a team supposed to actually build up much of anything if coaches get axed for not performing miracles with bum rosters?it has gotten to the point that you don't even get a season any more

By 33MillionDollarMen Go To PostSo how is a team supposed to actually build up much of anything if coaches get axed for not performing miracles with bum rosters? It's the sillyness of the hire and fire era, led by a power creep by players.
Coaches need time to figure out players, like front offices need time to polish out rosters to match styles. And Coaches / Front offices need to be strong consistent voices on culture.
But when you buy a half billion dollar play thing, you can't help but meddle with it if you're not getting instant gratification.

yay
By 3SidedPolygons Go To PostESPN with Lebron as a top 5 player. L.O.L.
The fact they're doing this bullshit during one of the most incredible seasons ever is proof more than ever that they're about narrative not news

By romrei Go To Post3ds you think celtics can beat warriors in nba finals?
Nah we don't have a star romrei Dogg...we need an extra scorer
People forgot how good Bird was. Dude was a mothefucka in his day.
By blackace Go To PostBird is most likely ranked above Timmy everywhere outside of SA…Like defense? Timmy is arguable best defensive big of all time.

yeah, they have YNB at like 40.
i mean i like him but he's barely in the middle of his career.
By giririsss Go To PostIt's the sillyness of the hire and fire era, led by a power creep by players.I think culture is a big part of it you're right. You got dudes basically being clownshoes everywhere and coddled by FOs, and with the dismissal of coaches like this, where's their actual power and ability to discipline? It definitely does not bode well when the owners are more concerned with whatever star power getting playing time rather than a coach being in control of who does what or who sits out due to acting up. Honestly the league doesn't help when rules are meted out the next season rather the playoffs or the finals. Whole league has a real disciplinary clownshoes problem.

Sure but Bird was maybe better at almost everything else and was amazingly efficient... and wasn't bad on D..
