Steph is from the future
Dude is a generation of his own.
By PSYCH! Go To Postwarriors would rek the 96 bulls. smokey just found out.im rooting for the warriors to beat the 96 bulls record, but let's not say dumb shit like this.
the game 20yrs ago was a lot more physical plus making hand check illegal transformed the game to what it is today.
Watch him gain a new shooting skill later on where he jumps in the 3pt shooting motion from anywhere on the court and all his teammate has to do is pass into his hands while he is shooting.
Don't even need to create his own shot, just go catch the ball in midair and make a 3.

By Omzz Go To PostI feel bad I wasn't around for the MJ era, but glad I'm witnessing the curry erathis is where I'm at. I was around, I just didn't get into sports until 2000 but I feel like I'm watching greatness for the first time ever.
what makes it better is all these salty ass old people saying he wouldnt do this against old competition because they knew how to play defense or some shit
like he wouldnt just effortlessly break their ankles and shoot a 40ft 3, then walk over their corpse like AI did to Tyronn
By Kabro Go To Postim rooting for the warriors to beat the 96 bulls record, but let's not say dumb shit like this.nah, Bulls would be lucky to win 2 games. Give Draymond and Bogut handchecking defense and it's over. Warriors in 3.

But yeah, Steph is sum shit.
Thing is, Durants range isn't that much shorter. Makes you wonder whats happening in OKC.

I would kill to see the Warriors play in a 90s game...
Back when you could goon stars...
By blackace Go To PostJust because you are seeing greatness for the first time let's not get carried away…And this is where it gets inane to compare stuff like that. Guys change their bodies and games to suit the meta of the moment.

Btw, Duncan joined the 3,000 block club.

but just saying that the older players are just old rofl is also asinine...
I am sure they are bitter because they see how the NBA protects it's assets now compared to when they played... MJs era was a lot more contact than today. I mean just by the comments about DMC throwing the ball off CP3 to save a possession with a mean face...Kinda shows how less of a contact it has become.
I am not one to say that it was better when dudes like Oakley would karate chops going down the lane with no intent of going for the ball because he knew he 6 fouls to give...but it was a different game. Besides what if... is a staple of sports banter...
By blackace Go To Postno doubt about it… I also think Curry is going to be one of the greats when it's finished…Right. And in todays era guys like Oakley would play about 2mpg for one goon foul and not get a second contract. I mean, Hansbrough.

I think Steph will be one of the greats even if he drops off after this season (i don't see it). He's basically ruining the league the way Hakeem did.
By blackace Go To PostAlso catching up on the games today… Like how Minny looked today….Didn't watch the game. But they struggled to beat a pelicans team missing 4 starters, with one in his first game back in ages, who is on the decline. With KAT putting up a monster game. They've got 3 really good players, they should be putting teams in the Pels situation away a lot easier.
It's worrying how much Wiggins struggles at times. But I think so much of it is the really stupid offense.

They should be better with 3 young studs... But I loved how KAT looked and even having bad runs in the game I like that they were able to put em away..
KAT went up against Perkins, Ajinca, and Ryno with a little bit of Cunningham and Babbitt thrown in. I would have been highly disappointed if he didn't have a massive game.
The Pels were down a starting line-up better than the one they played with lol. Asik/Davis/Pondexter/Jones/Evans beats the hell out of Ajinca/Anderson/Gee (or was it Cunningham?)/Gordon/Cole.
E: the trio of Jrue, Gordon, and Anderson scored nearly 90 points while the rest of the team had less than 30. Smh

Just because he wasn't facing the greatest talent doesn't mean you shouldn't look at what he did in a positive light.. My thing is he had a few moves in the post that game that looked so damn good.. and can only make you really want to see this kid in his peak form in a couple of years..

Klay Thompson is the quietest 30+ scorer I've ever seen. The announcer said he had 29 points and all I could think was "where??"

It's just that the players he was going up against are so bad defensively that I expect any competent offensive big to put up 20 on them.

By blackace Go To PostMost bigs at 20 are not consistent… KAT isn't also.. but the way he attacked them was really positiveI liked when he used his quickness to get past all those slow-footed defenders. He only did it a couple times, though, because he took mostly jumpshots from behind the free-throw line, but they were going in. Great rebounder in traffic.
By fertygo Go To PostI really like McHale esque KAT post move.that move was nuts... like McHale at x2 speed
By fertygo Go To PostI really like McHale esque KAT post move. The one where he had three pivots and pump-fakes in the lane, making Perk look silly? Yeah, that was great.
By vire Go To PostIs Mark Jackson the worst coach of all time? Seriously… What the fuck was he doing. My friend whose a paper clips fan still won't eat crow about Jackson. Still keeps trying to defend that he was a good coach. And he really is the one thing that could stop Curry.
