James Harden (46 points) recorded his fifth career 40-point game against the Trail Blazers, his most against any team, to lead the Rockets to a 119-105 win in Portland. Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum combined for 43 points in the loss
The comeback of the season. Houston rallies from a 21 point deficit to defeat Portland, 119-105, ending the Blazers six-game win streak. James Harden was fantastic with 46 points. Interim coach J.B. Bickerstaff played Harden the entire second half. He finished with 46 minutes played.

By diehard Go To Postconsidering expectations for this season, there are no bragging rights any Rocket fans has over anyone right now.Hah.
Portland is doing well all things considered, anything more will just be a cherry on top to not being a horrible joke after our team imploded.

By vic Go To PostThere was no defense in that game. The Pels shot 52/60/94 (fg/3p/ft) tonight and only won by four.
Hold on; Russ scored 44, KD 32 and they still lost?!?
lmao

Good luck to OKC in the playoffs if they put up that kind of defensive effort against the opposing team.

You'd think that Steph would still be trending though... guess Twitterverse remembers the last big highlight.
James Harden scored 46 points during a 119-105 win over the Blazers on Thursday with five rebounds, eight assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in 46 minutes.… oh.
What a win for the Rockets. They ended the game on a 44-16 run to pull of the comeback after being down 21 points in the third quarter. It was mostly on Harden with 30 points coming in the final 14:02 of this game with a 115.7 true shooting percentage in that stretch. The Rockets moved back into the eighth seed thanks to the Jazz losing to San Antonio.
Suns come up big with a clutch loss.
Really needed that one.
The nets are now 2 games ahead and put suns into 3rd.
I don't think we can catch Philly who are 5.5 games ahead, but the lakers are only 3.5 ahead, we could catch them.

By 33MillionDollarMen Go To PostI don't get tanking if your team is in dire need of more than just a good first round pick. The suns are running young guys who aren't hurt.
But Morris deciding to trash the season and under cut hornacek along with beldsoe going down and Knight seemingly regressing entirely means there wasn't much to save.
They need more than just a high pick, but when you aren't getting anything more, you take what you can get. Give your young guys experience and play time, and take the time in the search for your new coach. Don't sell your future (i.e. trade young talent and picks) away for winning 30 games in total.

Yeah I don't feel comfortable with the 3 game "lead" in the win column at all. A 13 game losing streak is no joke.
I still bare some hope that Philly will get a winning streak though.
By Colonel Nasty Go To PostThis is still an awful team but I'll take itI think I'd feel some sort of way if this team was just plain bad, but there's something about knowing this team is capable of playing competently (especially on the defensive end) for a quarter/half (but never for a full game) that's truly infuriating. Teams like Orlando and Minnesota being inconsistent makes sense since they're young, but it really shouldn't happen as terribly as it does with the Rockets.
GO NUGGETS!!

By lovingsteam Go To PostCurry - Best season of the last 20 years, yay or nay?if he keeps it up for the rest of the season, put me in the Yay corner.
I don't think there's many things worse than Curry doing what he does, and then literally fuking laughing as he dismantles you. He hits that half court shot and turns to the visiting fans and just laughs. That shit takes your soul on the court.
By lovingsteam Go To PostCurry - Best season of the last 20 years, yay or nay?
maybe the best season at PG since Big O
so yay
Curry is nearing MJ levels of I-fucking-cant-stand-how-good-you-are type of feelings about him. He's amazing but man do i never ever want to see the heat play them because it's never going to end well
Chris Mannix ✔ @ChrisMannixYSIso Joe sweepstakes woooo
Cleveland already ramping up its efforts to recruit Joe Johnson, but two teams high on Johnson's list, per source: Miami and Atlanta.
Miami emerging as frontrunner for Iso Joe.
Is there a more Iso Joe move than passing up a shot at a ring for more minutes and jumpers?

I'd take living in Cleveland for a few months if it meant a shot at a ring...sign with whoever else you want after the season.
By unknown Go To PostThat's not worth it, a ring for him should be worth more.if that's the case then joe shouldn't even be listening to MIA or ATL.
some players don't care about rings, just look at melo for instance
Here's also a fun fact I just read:
More crazy Curry stats. From 28 feet to 50 feet, he's 35-of-52 this season. Better efficiency than making 100% of your 2s
just saw this on gaf
what the fuck

I'd pick him up in an instant.
By vic Go To PostAin't Miami with it's nightclub scene one of the top destination for NBA players? So you need another ball dominant player to put a long side dragic and wade? Or are you trying to use him as miami's IT and move dragic on?
Harden gets McHale fired, tries to backdoor Dwight and now Ty Lawson wants a buyout? The Beard is setting that locker room on fire, goddamn.
I doubt Durant will ever go there now, his homeboy is running his own little fiefdom.

Seems like Wade has given Dragic the keys/he saw how much better we played when Dragic started running the team after the break.
By Bowser Go To PostLowe says Heat will sign Iso Joe either today or sometime this weekend per sources.Only Parsons can rival Wade's recruiting skills.
Watching Verejao debut in Orlando it look like he has more fun playing with how he react than he ever did in cleveland.
maybe it is just to spite cleveland and lebron but he really does look like he is enjoying himself more.
