Well it's hard to doom a franchise that's perpetually doomed already but it definitely extended the doom. I said at the time that given their roster and payroll post trade it was going to be impossible for the Knicks to put together a decent team over the next 5 years and that's exactly what happened.
I do like that the assembling of the Big 3 led to short sighted front office decisions that helped to put the Knicks and Lakers in their current positions.

Noel is smaller than all those guys and less offensively gifted with the exception of MAYBE Deandre who is stupid athletic. I really like what he does on defense and if he had offensive threats on his squad he'd be a great compliment.
