Decent sub-Ancelotti coach I reckon.
It's going to be Conte.
Has Mou to United already been confirmed?
I wonder if Pep manages to kill my excitement for PL football in the coming years. Ruining football one league after another.

McGeady needs solid playing time to prep for tearing it up at the Euros.
Pep. Its finally happened.

Even games won by Bayern with more than 4 goals tend to be boring as fuck. Unless Lewandowski scores them in 9 minutes.
It's disgusting, revolting and abhorrent. It makes you want to watch a different sport and leave football behind.
By Linius Go To PostPeople who say Pep is choosing the easy way again are so short sighted. Every club able to sign Pep in the prem has a shitload of money. It's a very competitive league and there's no way of telling he'd easily win the league with City. It's not as if City are the obvious title favourites every season. Arguably Arsenal would be the toughest one to win the league with, but City is still a challenge.
looooooooooooooooooooool
I can only imagine the next challenges on his life.
Juve and then PSG.
Fucking coward.
Congrats on the quadruple Manchester City.
We're a shambles defensively and mentally. We'll be a bit of a challenge.
Reckon all 3 of Yaya, Fernandinho and Fernando could be gone/marginalised. So thats at least 1 or 2 deep lying midfielders we need.
Presumably we'll go in for Stones now too.

I swear if one day we convert into a fully fledged tiki taka cunt side I'm going to switch to Inter.
Mancini will lead us back to the promised land
By Fergie Go To PostSeems we wanted Debuchy but Wenger refused.
After Van Persie he seems to have learned. Too bad the RVP deal was a fucking huge mistake and gifted you the league. Too bad Debuchy is not good enough. What a manager.
Selling rvp to united, only wenger could do it.

hope the money was worth the banter.
(even if RVP wanted United more, he could've blocked that move completely. i.e Voller and Vidal)

Selling RVP to United and then NOT selling Debuchy to us. You could've Silvestre'd us.
I'm absolutely serious when I said that I want us to snatch Pellegrini up.
It won't happen, but how I pray it would.

A player like Busquets would be like a dream for City.
Too bad there is no one in the world like Busquets other than the man himself.
By KP Go To PostThe great John Stones myth continues.
He's a ball playing CB, Pep loves that shit. Gotta watch that English quota too.
Taking John Stones as he is will be disastrous. He'd be better off with Jagielka to learn a thing or two for at least another season.
Pellegrini has done a decent job at City, he will end his 3 years job with 2 Prems and 2 League cups at least.
Good manager.

United were going to win the league anyway and we couldnt challenge for the title. Might as well make some cash.

At least this will make Arsene spend some money surely?
Liverpool, United, Chelsea, City and Tottenham are all going to be stronger next season.
Top 4 will be a hell of a fight i reckon.
By PrematureQuiche Go To PostI wonder if this means those rumours of Pellegrini to Chelsea were true? I don't think I want him but he does have a good record and i'm not sure anyone else will join us ffs. There's probably a good chance it'll happen. I do think that City squad needs a fairly large overhaul. Left back, centre back, centre mid and wing options all lacking.
If he can get some form out of Otamendi/Mangala and turn Fabian Delph into Thiago tho
imagine
he will truly be the special one

By sohois Go To PostPep could quite easily flop if City continue to balls up their transfer dealings. It didn't matter at Barca or Bayern - and Bayern had largely good transfers - but City need to replace a lot of old stars in the next two years. This is honestly an absolutely horrible post with no merit at all. Delph has been very good and is playing quite regularly now that he's fit, Otamendi is a fucking rock and was far from being an overspending, Sterling has scored nearly as many goals this season as he did at LFC last season (10 now vs 11 last year) despite having played in about half the games and is only 21 years old, Roberts cost almost nothing up front (2m-4m depending on the source) and is all incentive-based.
KdB was a hit, but they overspent on Sterling and Otamendi, Delph was a quota filler and what even happened to Patrick Roberts? Pep could turn some of them around of course, but it's a completely different challenge.
City's transfers this summer were absolutely pitch perfect.

Summer recruitment is going to depend on what formation Pep wants to play. Don't see him sticking with 4231.

By the hateful n8 Go To Postotamendi is a fucking rockWell, the first goal was entirely Yaya's fault. The second goal was shit and he should have been more alert, but Joe had ages to collect that. I was absolutely screaming COME GET IT JOE! That goal is on Joe IMO.
i must have imagined him being embarrassed by enner valencia last week
But every CB fucks up sometimes. It happens. It doesn't diminish their quality.

I haven't seen anything from Otamendi this season to justify being called a 'rock'. He was very good last year, but time and time again I see him outmuscled, outpaced and out of position.
