By Freewheelin Go To PostPep to City was always going to happen. I just wonder who the next Arsenal manager will be :(Wenger's son
People who say Pep is choosing the easy way again are so short sighted. Every club able to sign Pep in the prem has a shitload of money. It's a very competitive league and there's no way of telling he'd easily win the league with City. It's not as if City are the obvious title favourites every season. Arguably Arsenal would be the toughest one to win the league with, but City is still a challenge.

Looking forward to United putting Giggs up against Pep next season. We'll absolutely smash them in terms of #principles.

Welsh Pep vs Spanish Giggs. Incredible.
Now Arsenal just need to make Arteta player-manager for the Spanish Pep.

The fact that City are expected to win the league every year is depressing.

Will be interesting to watch United's (lack of) reaction now. We could say well yeah we're getting in Mourinho so do one.
But we won't. Our board will bicker and squabble. We'll be out of the CL. We won't get the players we want as a result and due to there being no clear plan re our manager. Then we'll give it t' Giggseh by way of confirming our Liverpool status.

Pellegrini is such a legend. I hope we give him the head coach role at the South American club we have not acquired yet.

It'll be interesting to see where Pellegrini ends up next.
United.

United and Chelsea both have the finances to build a team that can win the league over City. They've been far from spectacular this year and I don't see Pep having an easy ride in the PL over the next few, either.
But first order of business is to not be behind Leicester City in the table.

Hopefully his family & friends can talk him out of it.
I wonder if this means those rumours of Pellegrini to Chelsea were true? I don't think I want him but he does have a good record and i'm not sure anyone else will join us ffs.

I wonder if he is going to drive down.

Pellegrini knew about Guardiola last month. So did United's hierarchy - who at the time were more concerned with extending LVG's contract

I wonder if Giggs still thinks Wilson plays in the hole?
Bet he'd still put himself in ahead of Carrick too.

Pep could quite easily flop if City continue to balls up their transfer dealings. It didn't matter at Barca or Bayern - and Bayern had largely good transfers - but City need to replace a lot of old stars in the next two years.
KdB was a hit, but they overspent on Sterling and Otamendi, Delph was a quota filler and what even happened to Patrick Roberts? Pep could turn some of them around of course, but it's a completely different challenge.

By LFMartins86 Go To PostHe was shit at Porto but apparently he went there a bit against his will. 24M€ for him is silly money.I remember him saying that he only wanted to them PL in the summer so that sounds likely.
By JT Go To PostCan't hate on 5M profit in a few months + potential of future profits.Yeah, definitely a good deal for Porto.
Real talk though, the lad isn't bad he just hasn't settled into the team (which is doing bad this year) and we can't afford to give more time to a 20 million euro hole burning in our books. A player for that kind of money needs to make an immediate impact for us.
By flabber Go To PostLook at those players; they don't deserve to celebrate their triumphs. Why? Because they play for the wrong club.
Now can we please return to the usual regurgitation of the official @JuventusFC Twitter account and the meticulous giffing of every touch Dybala takes on the ball?
Pep needs to win them the Champions League for him to be a success, IMO.
RE Imbula
He is a good player and still really young. Stoke might be overpaying for him now but he'll come good in the future.
