You could never accuse their games of being polished.
Special article for Odd on Sturridge's injuries.

Chris Bascombe the one who went to The S*n?
Massive twat. Also poorly researched if he thinks Sturridge is no closer to returning, when Klopp said on Monday that Sturridge would be back in team training today. If that's not a solid step back towards fitness, what is?

Just let it go man, horse is right. Studge is soft.
Let him softly sleep away.
By Punished Go To PostWhat's up with this?Fuck knows. Obviously on his part he could go there for the wages, but no idea why there's such a price disparity.
Thought the Barca match was a league match, didn''t realise it was CdR. Imagine having to play the second leg in those circumstances.

He was Liverpool Echo for 7 years, then went to NotW (how time flies) and is now Telegraph obvs.
Also ghost-wrote Carragher's biography.

By Punished Go To PostWhat's up with this?I don't think it was ever confirmed that Shaktar were demanding 50mil, seemed they just said that that was his release clause. As far as I'm aware Liverpool never made a second bid so who's to say what they would have accepted anyway.
Also Bascombe's only source at Liverpool was Carragher, he doesn't really know anything now that he's gone.
By Shanks D Wolf Go To PostWho is Daniel Sturridge and why does Hitch care about him?Liverpool's only top class player :(

SPL seems like its in the worst state of its existence as a competition.

That's your rosy memories playing a trick on you.
Don't sleep on Firmino and Coutinho. Once they have the support they need, they will do great things.

Firmino obviously has the excuse of being new to the league, under 2 different managers, and being moved from supporting a statue, to playing up front with mediocre players supporting him.
Coutinho just cannot find any consistency though, and its a massive issue for him. If he could find it properly, he'd be incredible. Running out of faith in it happening, though there's still time. Would help if the attack around him didn't shift personnel and style so often, but a lack of movement only goes so far in justifying his tendency to ineffectively shoot from all angles and ranges.

At least if he goes there, we won't piss about assuming that he's joining us in the summer as we apparently did with Sanchez.
Shakhtar would definitely sell him to us for £38m. We weren't willing to pay that much. The £50m thing is just typical bullshit owners often spout.
Also I think Coutinho and Firmino at equally as good Sturridge, but they can't replace him.
The rumoured club who offered 190 million euros for Neymar is:
Manchester United Football Club. Lol

Hell of a player though.
By Vivalapizza Go To PostArsenal slaent. What do you think. Have you fucked it?
We have probably fucked it. We needed to pull a couple wins out of the fire during this middle stretch and we didn't.
Another thing Arsenal fans aren't addressing (or maybe they don't want to think about hell) is our utter lack of progression in Europe too. In the past two years despite having more money and a more 'complete' squad we've gotten proper fucked by Monaco, Anderlecht, Olympiakos, Zagreb.... These are teams with a hell of a lot less buying and star power than us but look at how easily we fold against them, forget the top clubs in the continent. Different players, different budgets, same shit.
