The Martian. Not a fan. No energy to it. Bunch of actors half-arsing it. Repetitive as fuck. Fragmented narrative that isn't working for me.
Eh. Got a lot of praise. Confused but each to their own.

Yeah, it's nowhere near as good as Creed. No bombastic energy or winning charismatic performances or understanding of what makes a film soar using editing and sound mixing/editing and score. It's just pretty rote perfunctory stuff, Ridley on autopilot.
Prometheus was at least him swinging like a madman and missing a lot of the time. Some of those balls hit. Here he's just shrugging as balls go past him.
i dont understand baseball
fuck ridley scott

The Martian is at least better put together than either Kingdom of Heaven n that Robin Hood: origins shite

Yeah, it's competent enough. Just boring. Like, there's a bunch of scenes in space and they have literally none of the spectacle or tension or excitement Gravity or Interstellar had.
This is from the bloke who made the best film set in space ever made (soz stanley).
Ridley just isn't capable of anything approaching greatness anymore.
oh no just remembered about exodus: from the cinema
off to buy some industrial grade absinthe

ridley i love you but please stop making films, you're the louis van gallbladder of the cinematic world

Still not sure how Lamela didn't keep that down. It was behind him, but fuck, just stroke it at goal

Spurs playing some great football in this game.
Game vs Dortmund will be great if both field their strongest teams.

Coq picked up a knock against Barca and was playing after receiving injections.
He also just returned from long term injury and has played quite a few minutes.
Hello lads. Another good day for football, always a good feeling to smash AZ after a hot streak for them. Also can't believe the gap from us to third place is 21 points now, Eredivisie pls
Saw Bridge of Spies last night. It was good. Classic Spielberg, extremely human movie and all the Berlin scenes were fantastic. Like a vivid dream.

We've got three Monday night games in a row end of April/beginning of May
Also, if United get past Liverpool they will have a quarter final either side of them coming to us.

I would have thought that would have been a selling point during the theatrical run.

Probably more scared of West Ham mid week than Arsenal at the lane. Their last game against us at Upton Park, under the lights, they'll be gagging for it.
And I wanna give it em.

Man I'm so bummed we lost to City. They deserved to win in the balance of play so I don't feel aggrieved by the result, I just really wanted the win. The game made it so clear where our deficiencies are: center back, left back, wide players, goalkeeper.
Was really impressed by Origi in his short time on the pitch. Hope to see a lot of him next season.

The Coen brothers writing the screenplay is the reason that tipped me over the edge to watch it. But it didn't at all have the typical trappings of the Coen brothers except for a few strong characters and humor interspersed. Felt very much like Spielberg's movie.

Just saw Spotlight.
Damn. Thought it was very well-made, and very well-acted. Superb sense of pacing too, moved along very nicely and briskly.
