In any case, since we were working together in China, it's not much of a difference as far as freedoms go, going to Qatar. On the subject, China is another country that's incredibly safe day-to-day, in spite of the totalitarian nature. It really is a nice feeling just being able to walk the streets of a big city without any fears for your safety late at night.
