By FootballFan Go To PostIt makes me sick to think he is going to take Thiago and Busquets to City.Yeah and he'll take Messi, Neymar and Suarez. He'll buy Barcelona altogether.
I'm not kidding when I say busquets is the only irreplaceable player on the team, this will ruin us.
Some buzz around a near deadline deal for Sporting. Apparently it is a dutch player, probably a striker.
Pep does not care when busquets wants to leave. He will steal him
He will speak to carles. Offer ridiculous money.
Same for Thiago.
Yaya Toure will experience deja vu nightmare, busquets will haunt him for eternity. Benched once again for an octopus.

Don't hear any news about Chelsea going in for a midfielder. Get this means RLC is going to take over Ramires's role.
I am okay with this. Bring on the youth renaissance at Stamford Bridge.

You think he would already leave turkey? Nah
By confuziz Go To PostDost? Not sure. People in ITK aren't saying, just telling people to wait a couple of hours that it will be worth it.

I would have a boner for a month if that happened.

Rosicky out again longterm.
Injured himself after 4 minutes.
I think its time to retire.
Arteta too.

Literally can't wait for the pictures of Pep at the Etihad Campus and he's just overlooking everything, awe-inspired at what we built for him, what we have built since 2008.
Will be pretty interesting to see how City and Pep adapt to each other. Among the top 6 in the Premier League, City are probably the most suited team for Pep and the way he likes to play.
Will be interesting to see how they change over the next couple of years. Their MF though is a wreck and I am sure Pep will buy and change the Fernando Fernandinho axis like others have mentioned. Silva and Aguero under Pep will be something to watch for definitely.

If you think about it, there's so much similarity between Pep and Mou.
Only difference is, one is loudly destructive, and the other prefers to implode.

Manchester City to give Pep Guardiola £150m to spend on players http://gu.com/p/4gakb/stw
Giving the poor sod chump change.
I think having Pep will be very good for Sterling and KdB. But how the rest of that roster deals with it will be interesting to see
we are letting liddle go to chesterfield...................

Pep in a competitive league will be interesting. Don't think he will win anything but it will be fun.
We're gonna have to get our transfer business absolutely spot on, and lean on the Klopp appeal to a ridiculous extent to get top 4 in the next 2 years or so. Otherwise we're relying on a lot of teams having shit seasons at once. That's happened this season, but we're one of those teams.

Pep will win an FA Cup easily and quickly IMO. League will be a challenge early, but helped greatly with a fat bankroll and the current players.

Look at the competition. I don't think its as guaranteed as others seem to, but he's a better manager than Pellegrini, they're already near the top, and they have massive spending power.

Other issue is in the Bundelsiga Klopp only had to compete with Bayern for players.
In the EPL there are at least 5 clubs that are more attractive than Liverpool right now.
And they will probably all have managers that players would be happy playing for.

when it comes to it no but my god he's made a right duffer of this season.
inept transfer policy just winding us all up.
if we did get taken over wouldn't trust him to sign a striker. had half a decade to get one and he hasn't managed to find someone half decent.
but at least we aren't facing administration any time soon. will take mundane stability over fearing for our future any day.
EPL just got more exciting
Wenger, Mou, Pep, Pellegrini, Klopp, Pardew, Pochettino, Ranieri, Rodgers

:(
Wonder if FSG would give him the time to bring in relative unknowns and make them boss over a period of 2 or 3 years, or if they'll go for the instant hits. Hopefully both, obviously. We have the money to bring in potential alongside players in/entering their primes.

Klopp is my second favorite manager after Wenger. I would love to play for him. I'd love to have him as a life coach.
Wenger, Klopp, Poch and Pep are all attractive to players.
Possibly Simone or Conte too.
Don't think Giggs is a huge draw, but 600m fans is I guess.
I think you'll try for both. It is the best strategy for clubs that don't have an unlimited budget.

Think we fucked up WRT rebuilding since now we don't have the allure of a legendary manager, especially on the chance we miss CL next year.

Sure, but he isn't a manager in the Premier league...
Conte or Simone would be attractive I think. Not as attractive as others, but combine that with the money you guys pay and London town and you'll be fine.
