I think he was bleeding from the ear the moment he got knocked down. He was fucked internally by that knockout.
By Pennywise Go To PostWasn't even that much power tbh. A harder puncher would have prolly killed Wilder at one point.i think so too. couldn't breath and eardrum clearly ruptured
That first KO really left a mark. Bet his jaw got a fracture or shit like that.
anyone with real power probably knocks wilder into the stands with those goofy legs
By FortuneFaded Go To PostHow does Fury rank amongst all time British boxers?Lewis would knock him out.

I don't think I'll ever truly be able to like Fury given some of the stuff he's come out with, but the his comeback has been amazing.
I really hope he and AJ can make it happen, it'd be an excellent occasion for British boxing.

Wilder trainer has he has a cut on the inside of the ear. Not even his ear drum. So just got beat up
How did the weight diffrence factor in a fight like this? Fury had like 40 pounds on him, is it like in MMA with a cut in the purse or ?

At heavyweight there is no limit, can come in as heavy as you want with no regards for your opponents size.

Fury had like 40 pounds on him, is it like in MMA with a cut in the purse or ?Fury bullying and laying on Wilder absolutely exhausted and confused Wilder. Some may say the ref should've policed it better but it's heavyweight boxing imo - and Wilder would've been able to avoid all of it if he fought with both hands or worked on his footwork just once in his life.
Weight will always be a big deal.
By rerixo Go To Posta good ending to the sportcasual, you mad?

By Pennywise Go To Postexcuses as always, when he gets the bricks beat off him again I don't want no more excuses.
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostWill probably be a better paycheck than his next 5 fights, so might as well.Yeah. Guy is almost 35 he doesn’t have much longer to be relevant. May as well cash in and go out with one big splash.
I still like Wilder. Up until the ring walk I was all in on Tyson but once the Bronze Bomber took his mask off, a sudden rush of deep sadness overcame my beating heart. There and then I knew it, I was already pitying him and the night he was about to have. It had happened already and we were just going along to make witnesses.
The ear drum was shot, the back of the head, the hidden injury, the corner that denied the comeback, the ref that stopped it early, and in the end the costume. The fucking costume. That one is new, and strange coming from the "I want a body on my record" fighter. Embarrassing really. The fucking costume.
Pushed and shoved by the Gipsy King, inside outside, battered and punished all while having to carry the weight of a looming shadow growing heavier by the rounds. Wilder was completely dismantled and his toughness became his own worst enemy saved only by a corner that had no other choice but to throw the towel. The guy was nothing but a punching bag at that point.
He wants the rematch straight away? Of course he does, and that makes me sad. He doesn't have the aura anymore, and next time will be even worse.
