By reilo Go To PostThat's really shitty that a third-party peripheral would get into the exclusivity business when they share a platform with a competitor. It's like having racing games exclusive to Logitech wheels.
If Logitech had funded the games in question and were locked in a death match for the future of gaming, it might kinda make sense. The "rising tide raises all ships" crowd are kidding themselves. Sony's going to run way with this and only one company is going to emerge on the PC side as the default platform.
Oh, I didn't know Oculus actually funded those games. That's a whole another subject. If they funded them, then exclusivity is just fine.
You forget the part where publishers said that people at Occulus straight up came to them to turn their already developing games into Occulus exclusives.
“It wasn’t easy, but we turned down a shitton of money, as we believe that truly good games will sell by themselves and make profit in the long run regardless,” Kotlar claims. “And also because we hate exclusives as much as you do.”
When Facebook bought Oculus for whatever billion dollars, did people really think there wasn't going to be exclusives? It's a shitty thing to do but I'm not sure why people seem to be surprised this happened.
Been playing GTA online more and more over the last week. The newest free update added a new layer to free roam and multiplayer teamwork. It's pretty fun and addictive battling other groups of people over cargo in the streets. It's not perfect; however, these special cargo items they've included can really bring in serious money fast.
Plus the random silliness that routinely happens is still unmatched. This was last night:
New cars to race are also really nice.

Drive Club is only $7.49 on PSN, so I bought it based on how much I'd heard about it. It's...fine? I dunno, it doesn't look bad or anything, but I think I was expecting the heavens to open up given how much people had ranted about the visuals and effects in this game. It seems like visually it's been lapped, so to speak. The gameplay is fine, really simple, no real hook to it. Feels decent enough, I could see getting into it when I was really in the mood for a racer.
I wonder what happens first, Knicks win a championship or Steam actually working throughout a Steam Sale. This is their storefront, they plan the sales and know how popular their client is yet it apparently hasn't received any improvements in a decade.
i genuinely hope Tekken 7 doesn't have cross play with the PC version
if i want to play bots i'll fire up arcade mode

DOOM is on sale for $35. I said I would pick it up when it went on sale so I did. Got the Steam Link that was on sale, too, in anticipation of getting a quality TV during Black Friday.
Valkyria Chronicles and Grim Dawn on sale.....yasssss...II need to stock up on beer for I can enjoy these game.
By Lambda Go To Posti genuinely hope Tekken 7 doesn't have cross play with the PC versionIf there is, I don't see why there wouldn't be options like Street Fighter, and I think even Rocket League let you only play with people from your platform.

I already got all the trophies in KoF 2000, and there's no online so I guess that's that. Bring on XIV.
I think I need a break from Inquisition already. Back to Drive Club it is. Actually, this game's growing on me. It feels like it's ripped straight out of the Dreamcast era, but with a bunch of 2010s fill-up-the-bars-with-XP stuff layered on top. I've encountered a lot of impressive visual moments too, that have made me reconsider my previous impressions. Now I'm getting kind of sad that the game didn't last long enough to do rally tracks.

I need to finish This War of Mine, so I'm restarting a play-through of it. Seems like the "The Little Ones" DLC finally hit PC this month. The base game is $4.99 on STEAM thanks to the sale. If you don't have it, go for it.
It gets real af. In fact, I totally forgot how it can crush you with it's morality and mental wellness/illness system. Almost fucked up, until I remembered that I had a character literally kill themselves over something that I made them do. :(

MachineGames (Wolfenstein: TNO) celebrates 20 years of Quake, by making a new episode for the original.
I'm going to give this a spin later on.

i enjoyed playing it but it kind of started to get a little dumb in terms of the resource management...like, is there a motherfucking biological weapon that dropped on the area or what? because you can't keep getting sick like this, fuck
and bruh, I boarded up all the walls and every one of yall got ak47's, stop getting fucking wounded when I go out to scavenge

The trailer didn't exactly inspire me with confidence and your feedback makes it seem like I would just find a bunch of faults with it.
I've been playing the PC version of Final Fantasy IV, which is like the fourth version of that game I've owned, and it's a lot harder than I remember that game being on like SNES and GBA.
By jjasper Go To PostIs it based on the DS version? I remember that version be harder than all other versions.Yeah, it's a port of the DS version. I actually think it looks nice for what it is, although the battles run at a weird frame rate it was pretty bothersome at first.
motherfucker who was supposed to sell me Uncharted 4 was a no-show, now blocked me on Facebook
hate people like this
at least already got another seller lined up, he's gonna throw in UC4 plus the remastered Final Fantasy X/X-2 all for 50€, not a bad deal

Having said all that, perhaps the greatest number of complaints from the players of American Truck Simulator have been related to the scale of the map. Your comments are incredibly important to us, and we listen to as many as we can.As such, we had been pondering internally how to meet your feedback for several months while we finished work on the Arizona DLC, and now we have made up our mind: we are, as a free future update, going to increase the scale of the game world of American Truck Simulator. This update will have many clear benefits for you, such as:
Upping the map scale from 1:35 to 1:20, meaning 75% longer roads outside cities
Retouching the the existing system of roads and intersections and revisiting the placement of cities and crossroads
Focusing on a better sense of scale and distance, more space for large vistas
Adjusting the timescale - meaning a slower day/night cycle and longer intervals between when the driver needs to rest and refuel
Revamping problematic junctions - no more Interstate intersections!
Revamping the driver experience system to more closely mirror ETS2's system
More room for densely populated areas in future map expansions
The new scale is equivalent to that of Euro Truck Simulator 2, so the flow of time in both games will be the same. There is also more room now to go back and improve some of the places that were compromised due to the limited scale and replace them with more realistic depictions.

i missed this
what a great update
By Smokey Go To Posti missed thisI buy random DLC from them every now and then just to slide them a bit more money for being a "good company" in my eyes. It's more than worth it for the post-release support they give.
what a great update

How did it take Kojima Productions 5 games to get the control scheme right?
