By data Go To PostI don't want to spend this much time on it, but I could write an essay about everything Quantum Break does wrong. It is the most forgettable video game I have ever played. It reminds me of what games would look like if the CD-I and 'Hollywood Multi Media' were mega hits. The story is all over the place, none of the characters are developed whatsoever, there is no attachment to anyone, the acting in the games is only compounded by the god awful acting inbetween each act starring Shitty Chris Evans, Overacting Seth Green, and Failed Abercrombie Model That Looks Like She's Always Going To Cry or Laugh.damn
The writing is so god awful that there is literally a random goon saying, 'I can't wait to kill your wife' and a random, out of place speech about how the idea of God is dumb. The only thing you will remember about this game if you play it, which you shouldn't, is that Lance Reddick kills it at these god awful lines he's fed.
The sets of the live action parts are so fucking sterile, the acting is so bad across the board from everyone that's not named Lance Reddick or Shawn Ashmore(which is a pointless trait because Ashmore, who plays the game's protagonist, is the most boring, cliche, video game programmer self-insert protagonist with ZERO DEPTH explained in the whole game), an incredibly poor selection of weapons where half the assault rifles feel the same, the awful attempt at an American accent by Dominic Monaghan, the powers that are cool for like 4 minutes and then just feel pathetic and weak with a completely uninteresting upgrade system.
I don't even want to call the game trash because it doesn't deserve a label that means it did SOMETHING. It is the most bland, mass market produced looking game I've ever played. It is the USA Original of video games, it's like those mid-tier shooters from last generation with a bigger budget(like Wanted: Weapons of Fate or Binary Domain – but both those games are more interesting)
I will not remember Quantum Break a year from now. I might not even remember it a month from now other than a waste of money. And that has nothing to do with the port on PC and everything to do with the game itself. And I'm not much of a picky gamer considering I've enjoyed other 'middling' games like Mad Max and Far Cry Primal and the standard Ubisoft fare. This game is somehow more bland than an Ubisoft title. Just think about that for a minute.

I didn't like Max Payne 3 at the time, and it definitely doesn't stack up to 1 or 2 to me(though I consider MP 1 in my top 10 games of all time) but I should probably reinstall it to compare it to QB.

After soooo much Bullshit I finally beat the last boss in Ziggaruat only took some luck of the draw in the modifiers and 2 good weapons out of 4

1. there's way too many cutscenes
2. the level design is restricted and it feels like you're being rushed through set pieces the entire time
3. there is unnecessary realism such as hitting the walls while shootdodging and the weapon carrying limit
the gameplay is quality but it also relies too much on taking cover. i liked max's dialogue throughout the game.

gameplay boils down to getting rushed by braindead AI, shining torch on them to remove super armour and then shooting them a few times. Absolutely fucking horrid game within a great setting.

Personally its the proper sequel to Dead Island. Lots of great things done in this game.
But I am going hard on this Division. Havent felt this hype for anything multiplayer in a while. Actually the last time i felt like this was Diablo 3. And with the added gear sets im looking forward to it even more. But my question for you cats is Enter the Gungeon. Anyone can vouch for it? And is anyone hype for Aliennation. Im a sucker for twin stick shooters.

I think that's part of it, but I think the bigger reasons are it's a style with proven mass appeal in WoW/LoL case, and budget/time/tech restraints in KoF's.

Destiny's biggest issue is its map design in PvP. It just goes against almost everything that makes the mechanics great.
