GGers blamed Alison Rapp for a Fire Emblem localization thing they didn't like, even though she's not on the localization team as far as I'm aware. So they dug up her college thesis which argues for less strict laws on CP possession and in favor of more laws supporting victims, took quotes out of context and sent them to the head of an anti sex trafficking organization that seems a bit too cozy with the movement, and she started calling Nintendo to try and get her fired. Meanwhile Nintendo was receiving the normal GG harassment that happens wherever they pick a target.
What gets me is the ones advocating for better representation of women and minorities in games typically do it openly and under their own names.

Actually been watching a lot of competitive DoA lately too... game is way more than what I ever thought.
I've got so much unfinished games sitting around yet I have little desire to play any of them. This year seems to be the one where I'm going to get more picky about what's more worth my time.
I think the only games this year i put any reasonable time into was Stardew Valley and American Truck Simulator. I did put some time into Far Cry Primal as well, but I barely remember any of it.

Invest in a stick if you are able and if you think it will be good for you. I grew up on game center and stick so thats the route I've gone cause it just makes sense to me.
Dead or Alive has actually been pretty good.
I stick with my ArcSys/Bandai Namco gamestho.
BlazBlue/Guilty Gear/Gundam EXVS/Tekken is a lineup that has treated me so well. All the games have been deep and so much fun to play for me.
Merubura is some next level shit and I wish they would make HD sequel like UNIEL. The game is pretty insane with what you can do.
BlazBlue CentralFiction is probably the deepest game in game centers at the moment and the console version of Guilty Gear Revelator is up for preorder in less than 24 hours and it comes with the playable arcade build to play until the actual game comes out.

Guild Wars 2 actually brought back Super Adventure Box! I did not expect this to ever happen. The original version was based off of hacks, and there were murmurs of it coming back. Woke up today and it was active. No new worlds, but this likely means there can be new worlds in the future. Still only leaving it up for three weeks, but its better than nothing and ANet needs the good vibe.

I played the original DOAX and legit liked the volleyball. I don't think it was groundbreakingly great or anything, it was just fun to sit down and relax and play.
