By Suen Go To PostNeed to buy Gravity Rush 2 ;_;I should give the demo another go, I didn't really come to grips with the controls.
By data Go To PostI thought Gravity Rush 1 was boring as shit. And GR 2 looks like more of that.Same. I never really quite got the love for it. Never felt like anything more than a really cool tech demo.
I tried GR1 and thought this whole gravity thing was really really neat, but I gave up after the first few terrible A--->B quests.....it just wasn't fun at all
apparently GR2 is much better at that so I'm willing to bite...

yeah gravity rush has a neat concept but it runs out of steam about halfway though and never picks up again
hopefully from what ive heard 2 is an interesting experience until the end

well excited.....so this could only end in disappointment. Gonna be fun trying to piece the story together 💀
Let It Die mostly just bums me out Shadows of the Damned never got a sequel. Of all the bullshit Grasshopper put out, that was the one that actually deserved a sequel.

Same. I don't really like controlling the flight.
Fucked up the elusive target in Hitman.
The elusive target mechanic is neat but a pain in the arse. I think it discourages the player from being creative and having fun because if you fuck up it's game over so people would rather play it super safe or just copy a strategy that saw online.

i like it, it forces me to plan everything and not rush through it knowing i could just load a save, and if things get hairy i just go with the flow. if you want to retry when you fuck up, pause the game immediately, disconnect from the internet and return to the main menu. you can reconnect and try it again, i haven't done this myself but i read it on gaf.
i shot everyone in his room with a silenced pistol, knocked him out and then dumped his body over the railing for the accident kill requirement. i don't go for the silent assassin rating for elusive targets

You can retry as much as you want, as long as you have not died or killed your target yet.
Which kind of ruins the whole thing. Just let me play it over and over again, even if I have killed the target once already.
The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth + feels like I spent $10 for mod tools, and content geared towards the experts that can clear every run with even bullshit items. It's not really a design choice that I've agreed with for the past update or so, but I get it. Still, the game plays a lot better after it was patched (apparently). I was expecting a bit more from the update, considering what we've been given the past few content upgrades. I guess they're banking on the community from here on out.
On the other hand, a mod called Antibirth released and it's looks like a love letter to the series. The devs for Antibirth are in talks with the TBOI team and are working on porting it over to Afterbirth +, which is cool. The co-op in it looks infinitely better than whatever it was that passes for co-op in the main game.
I'm probably gonna lose hella time to both. :(
Still waiting on the first major update to Enter The Gungeon. :(
Yugioh Duel Links (on mobile) is fun (just officially released, recently). I haven't played this shit since 2004, but the game is super easy to get into. The gacha aspect is exactly as it was irl (booster packs). I'm not sure about the drop rates, but I've got some decent cards out of my draws (just lucky). The game runs on an energy system, the same way most mobile games of this ilk due. I can imagine that they won't be as liberal with the game's main currency for much longer, but you have enough to piece together a deck to get you through stage missions. PvP is great. You can battle a friend or a rando (good luck).
Brave Exvius is still my primary mobile game. Seems like they're going to fix part of the gacha system on global, so you don't get troll rare drops (they fixed it in Japan a while back). I've never seen it, but getting a rainbow crystal, which is like a 1% chance (or some low-ass number) and then getting a wack character, is enough to make you yeet a phone through a window.
Might drop Fantasy War Tactics soonish. I just log in and do my dailies, and let it play itself. :/

Annoyed me somewhat that Shadows of the Damned didn't even have a NG+.
That thumbnail knows exactly what its doing.
Are we doing a Y0 thread or is there not enough people on here that's gonna play it?

There are so many workshop items for Cities Skylines I have no idea where to start
Skylines is legit one of those games where I feel like the community has done more with the game than the developers. Like the base game is great but a lot of the expansions have been so-so but the community just fixes everything

Awesome Games Done Quick just raised over $2M for the first time. It goes to cancer research. I don't know when they started, but their event in 2011 raised "only" $50K (according to one of the donation messages I heard today).

wait a minite, it was released way back in 2015 for Japan? God this must be awful for non-Japanese fans
Yakuza 6 ww in Q2 2018 despite being released in 2016, eh...?!?
I suck at city planning. Only 2h ours in and i already lost half a district to a fire because my roads are completely congested with buses.

By Xpike Go To PostUS-only charity tho, sucks because they have partnered with others like Doctors Without Borders that work internationally :/It looks like they go back and forth between some Doctors Without Borders and the Prevent Cancer Foundation. This year is the PCF. Though they have also been running some ads for cancer screening devices for use in Africa so I'm not sure if that entire total goes to an organization that only serves the US.
I can't find any real clarification on their website which is real shitty on their part.

i've got every Yakuza game outside of Dead Souls and the japanese exclusive releases. Can't play 5 though because my PS3 hdd isn't big enough lmao
:lol
5 was good, but 2 the GOAT.
Dead Souls is shit. Why would they even bother localizing that trash.

I really wish Gamefreak's idea of challenging in Pokemon games didn't translate to "time consuming and random as fuck." Most of my time since completing the main quest in Sun has been spent just trying to raise competitively viable pokes.
I just want to get online and give children these hands and all this EV training and IV breeding and what not is getting in the way.

You can purchase items to get around needing to do the EV training, iirc. Breeding the right nature and shit for a Pokémon is pretty shit, though.

But man, the rng is fucking me over while breeding. I have whole boxes that are just Eevee, Mimikyu, and Grimer.
