Really appreciate the opinions. I want mah robots, but the grind does seem a bit rough.
Think I'll just stop running from God Eater 2. Seems like a safe bet.

From LR console to PC, it was like only 2 years, reilo.
FF13 was tainted by Lightning though, so FF15 is already better by default, blackace.
You are part of the problem Mr. Blade

Never played a JRPG in my life, unless Pokemon Yellow counts :lol
I just HATE anything turn-based, it's a miracle that I loved XC2....and gambling in casinos :lol

DY, as a big Armored Core fan, what did you make of Titanfall 2?
I know it's not even remotely close, but fuck me, the Titan v Titan in the campaign was always hype.

By Ciaran Go To PostDY, as a big Armored Core fan, what did you make of Titanfall 2?The Titan v Titan combat isn't bad by any means but those things are just so fragile lol. Also, there's a lot of abilities for the Titans that just make it an entirely different experience. A lot of AC is seeing who can lay down the most effective fire and how long can they keep it up. There's a lot to do that though... is that fire direct or indirect? is it sustained or burst damage? how mobile are they when firing? repositioning? is it actually effective? etc

Titanfall you can just throw up a barrier and commence the fukkery lol. AC you could pepper a guy with machine guns an entire match waiting for the moment he slips up to catch him with a railgun to the upper lip - and that moment may or may not even come.
Its fun though. I'm all about equal opportunities for giant robots.

I love your palpable passion for AC, it's a bit like mine for Souls; we're gonna make such a beautiful robots pairing in Armored Core 2017
but let's be real, whoever gets PSY and his reflexes wins
By data Go To PostI'm fixing to download Watch Dogs 2Not even curious about the 2 games that are coming out over the next few weeks, that have both had nightmarish, 10-year development cycles?
nothing else coming out this year singleplayer wise anyways
Even if you don't need new grips for your analog sticks on PS4, I strongly recommend getting some anyway. The concave ones feel great.
I've never cared for Ueda's games, honestly. We'll see how XV goes. I've never liked FF but I have liked KH. But mostly for the disney stuff.
I redownloaded Osu to remind myself that my mouse skills ain't shit.
edit: nm pc versions not even out yet. fuck that.

Speaking of, the upper cathedral has been fucking desttoying me, I must have died 20 times, lost 60k echoes & lost 10 insight from the fucking super wolves + the octopus face dude.
Not going back there for now ffs
By S.igh Go To PostTeeeeeeechnically, the souls games are jrpgs. I also share the hatred of anything turn based ππlooool yeah those fucking wolves are tough as nails, no matter how decked out my character is I could still die to them. The trick was to try and pull them one by one, and to retreat tactically to the narrow corridors.

you're at that sweet spot of the game, where you have way too many options open to you. Three optional areas (Upper Cathedral, the Envelope and the Tonsil stone area), the DLC and the main quest (Yahar'gul).
By DY_nasty Go To Postyet you finished tales of graces fI never claimed I was a perfect man, or even a good one.

So a while back, a long while, I bought the episodic game Blues and Bullets. It was rough around the edges but I really liked the idea behind it and the fact that like over half the cast were Witcher voice actors. It was very Deadly Premonition-like which I enjoyed,
It is 11/22/16. The last episode, episode 2, came out in March 2016
lol

The One Reborn was more annoying than hard. Took 3 tries but I got him.
also, Bloodborne might have the most varied enemy types & designs I've ever seen in a videogame. New, weird shit to kill just keeps coming.
Does anyone know what the budget for this was? It seems fairly large considering the man hours it would have taken to create all the art & assets. The skull walls, satues, environments are crazy good.

Planet Coaster has some management aspects to it(though not really anything you have to worry about in Sandbox mode) but it reminds me more of like an art tool than a management sim. It's kind of relaxing and weird but I'm rarely thinking about how this ride will do and more about how good I can make the terrain around it look.
totally not mine

By S.igh Go To Postjust lost 80k echoesβ¦..feelsbadmanYou can get them back by going back to the area you died and killing the enemy that killed you. Their eyes will be lit up blue.
By blackace Go To PostIs there a campaign mode? Not really. There's a mode where you get prefab parks with objectives like to build so many rides and make so much money, there's challenge mode where you're given an amount of money and not much else and there's sandbox where you have infinite money and can do whatever
By S.igh Go To PostThe One Reborn was more annoying than hard. Took 3 tries but I got him.I just love their attention to detail <3 each enemy placement and item is telling you a story. Yahar'gul, a city decimated by an insane cult trying to summon a God (they failed)

ehehe, the Nightmare is insane, as the name implies. <3 that intro where you have to hide behind the rocks away from something's sight or risk exploding was a brilliant build up. (you need to wear Frenzy gear, Frenzy Rune and stack up on Sedatives against a few enemies btw) you're literally in their leader's dream/nightmare right now. Which is a concept they're gonna use again in the DLC to transport you back in time to see how it all really started.
btw, DON'T kill this area's second boss before finishing up the three optional areas first and the DLC. Well, you can kill him/her/it, but you might unwittingly trigger a point of no return.
I totally forgot we had a somewhat popular Bloodborne OT: http://slaent.com/thread/106218/

You just playing sandbox?
By blackace Go To PostYou just playing sandbox?Yeah at least until I get a better understanding of the mechanics. It honestly seems like the main mode of the game because the more creative aspects of the game can be very expensive.
Started a fresh campaign in "Invisible Inc". I only played it for a couple of hours when it was free for a weekend. So, I'm basically running it semi-blind. The timer sure does light a fire under your ass.
I'm not certain that I'm making the "correct" choices in the early game, in regards to mission selection.

I pirated it and played the first ep. Seemed cool enough, will try and actually play it for good now. The dialogue had me cringing a bit every now and then, but I liked it over all.
