By Facism Go To PostBetween the main game, chalice dungeons and the old hunters, I've fought blood starved beast 4 times in a single play through 💀God DAMN you even fucking replayed the chalice dungeons? :lol the hunger is real.
Put Bloodborne disc in
Stuck on first screen
Can't tell if its installing, jammed, or won't start until the 9GB update is downloaded.

I've played the dungeons twice too. Gameplay is so good I can ignore all the cut and paste bullshit.
Love the Shadows fight. Doing that with same numbers is doing it a disservice. Can't explain how tense it is just endlessly rolling as their ridiculous range fucks you up.

I beat the Shadows first time iirc, despite being shite at the game
Amygdala gave me nightmares, and Jeff Green beat her first time, despite him being worse at the game than me :P

Amygdala was easy brehhh. Hard in the Chalice Dungeons though.
Ones I struggled with the most (like, upwards of 10 times - PROBABLY FUCKING NEARER 50) were Amelia, Laurence and Ebrietas.

By DY_nasty Go To PostWhen exactly?
I only ask because the game has changed drastically. Warframe is like nothing else I've ever seen in that regard. Game went from playing like Tomb Raider to having some of the best movement I've ever seen outside of Titanfall. If it was more than a few months ago I'd give it another shot.
I think when it first came to ps4 or shortly after
By Smokey Go To PostI think when it first came to ps4 or shortly afterYeah it was janky af. Deleted it after an hour.

Copy-pasted, uninspired, not fun to fight and they even equipped him with DS2's infamous tracking along with its phantom hitbox for good measure.
I quite enjoy frantic (relatively human-sized) fights like Maria, Kos, Shadows of Yharnam etc, so in that sense I liked most of DS3's bosses too <3
Yeah, I really need to replay Bloodborne. I just have a hard time accepting any other weapon than the Threaded Cane as being acceptable.

Lawrence was a cunt of a boss. We cooped him over 2 or 3 days and got smashed out every time? To be fair, it was NG+++. The first form isn't a problem, whilst the second form is just cheese cheese cheese with very little leeway for fucking up. That one attempt where you died just at the end where we needed one hit to kill him, followed by that bullshit sweep attack that 1-shotted me just as i was about to land it. Broke us, that did :D
Phumerian Descendant Mk. II was another cunt of a boss. His sword toss clipping through 4 pillars at a fucking time christ. Was parrying him for days and it only did chip dmg D: D: D:

I love the Whirligig Saw so much that i ran to the fucking thing as soon as the DLC was unlocked in my current run.A big fucking mace that turns into a blender with the best L2 attack in the game.

solo I had no probs with him
my favourite death was in the chalice with you, when we both got one shotted, despite me being like 1 mile away loool
I didn't think Lawrence was that bad but I think ebrietas room mea solid week to kill.
Edit: actually I am not thinking about lawerence.

such a beautiful setup though
a reference to Michelangelo's Pietà I suspect
I'm never going to beat this fucking game
Gonna take some time to get the rythm back, might have to go to a normal area and fight some humanoid enemies to do it. The boss is way too punishing to get practise against.
Even sold everything I'm not using to fill out my vial storage. Should be good for 60 attempts or so ¬¬

Brave Exvius is showing me that it is a-okay to get carried in certain games. The Maxwell trial is obscene. I managed to get her, but not without assistance.
Not guarding on turn 4? GG.
Drop her below 60% hp? Meteor and possibly insta death to a character.
Make it later in the fight? Endless out of the blue and maybe the whole squad is gone, maybe not.
God bless Cecil and Refia.

By Smokey Go To PostI'll give it a shot. Re downloading it.The core gameplay is the same as it has ever been but the graphical style and controls are a whole bunch better. I remember when the game was so busy/muddied that it was almost impossible to tell what was going on.
I installed it on ps4 myself and there is no way to transfer over my progress from PC. A Sony/Microsoft issue, apparently.
But hey, I'm down to play it with others on either platform.

Big PS4 update 2 years ago or so reworked all of the movement and made melee combat actually viable as well as completely unfucked the framerate issues. UI overhauls, etc. Played it recently and it felt like I missed two full sequels.

Wario on Twitter is saying you could price match at Target and use their holiday coupon to get it down even lower. That's probably the best price you're going to find until that Scorpio price drop next fall.

As bad as I am at games, even I managed to finish Bloodborne :lol
THREE TIMES.
I'm shaking lmao
Finally beat Father Gascoigne. Him turning beast was the hardest part but just had to parry him once to get a good hit in and he was done for. Didn't even use any molotov cocktails or anything. Just good axe and parry techniques.

I played through Everybody's Gone to the Rapture today...I thought it was really good, well acted, the soundtrack is about as good as it gets...the whole thing felt like a game made for adults by adults (and not in the sexy way). But your enjoyment of it will depend entirely on how patient you are with the slow walk speed (the run option is so subtle I thought it wasn't working for the first 5th of the game) and the total lack of action or puzzle solving. I like me a good walking simulator, but they're definitely not for everyone.
Warframe... is decent! It's a bit rough around the edges especially the opening scene, but it has a lot of cool features and more than solid gameplay. It definitely lacks the AAA developer polish, but the concepts are executed very well. Not sure if I'm gonna keep playing it since the hook isn't there for me just yet, but I might give it a few more missions and see how it goes.
Anyone with a PS4 here mostly digital? I've never had one and I might actually have a Pro in the next month or so. No idea where to start, wondering if anyone is willing to gameshare. I've always wanted to try NBA2K, never played that before might be interesting.
I usually play in terms of frequency on my iPhone > 3DS/Vita > PS3/Wii U.

I'd wager most people are primarily digital. The PSN sales are so good it makes way more sense, and there are tons of games that don't have a physical release anyway. I only own like 3 discs because it's so easy to get good games digitally under $10-15.

This is the first time I've ever played it, and it's definitely got a lot going for it. When I say rough around the edges I mean like the smallest of things.

You get new weapons and each frame has different powers and there are different pets that can help you out, each with their own unique abilities. There are also some flying levels later on, but the core of the game has you farming to do harder and harder content.

Some of the most fun I had was spent creating color schemes for all my shit. That is where money should go first, imo, into different paints and shit.

don't think I'd be having this much fun playing it on anything lower than hard though, as ghosting your way through levels is more satisfying when the AI doesn't have self-imposed myopia :lol their patrolling routes are random too so it can be hard to predict what they're gonna do next.
I usually ignore collecting stuff in every game because it's tedious AF, but not here! As finding each Rune/Bonecharm requires solving some kinda puzzle to get to them
