On another note Titanfall 2 might have the biggest difference in quality between demo/beta and final game and it's SP is actually pretty good.

Going to Platinum it in a few days. I'm on my second play through on Master difficulty which is the last trophy I need. Game is good.

Which is crazy right? That was supposed to be a massive franchise for EA (and MS) and now it seems a complete afterthought. Did the first game really fail to live up to expectations that hard? How long did the multi-player survive?
on PC it was dead instantly.
On XB1 it has a pretty decent sized community for at least 6 months. You were able to get into a game within 30 seconds, the game was usually full and being able to play any playlist. Well, at least for US that was the case.

I expected a somewhat fun FPS, and I after 2 or 3 matches in the beta, I never wanted to play it again. It just felt boring to play. The titans were dumb, that auto aim gun was dumb, killing those NPC's all the time was dumb... Meh. The movement was kind of cool but that was about it.
First game was killed by its exclusivity and lack of a single player. Second game was killed by the fact that its a sequel to a game that didn't last long or sell that many, and its absolutely absurd release date. They could have released it tomorrow, even. Just give it a weeks' gap from CoD and BF1 at least. Being first to market means fuck all when you're already up against it, and the gap is that small.

Even after the BF1 release date became public knowledge. The studio is apparently angry that EA that didn't save them from themselves.

Putting people's jobs at risk (long term) because they've deluded themselves into thinking they could compete (and EA would let them) with BF1.
I feel like the initial failure of the Xbone is definitely still holding the series down a bit. It certainly didn't help.

Only after reading the guide did I realize that Ellen the Crow was a friendly NPC -- when in the past I approached her I thought she was an enemy and she ended up destroying me. There was no way for me to know she was a friendly. Then I read the guide and it basically amounted to "approach her slowly".

There is. There's a whole world of games between Uncharted and Dark Souls that you could play instead. That doesn't mean that the extremes in that dichotomy can't or shouldn't exist.
I say this as someone who doesn't enjoy Dark Souls at all. So I just don't play it lol.

Most friendly NPCs don't turn on you immediately too, they give you a stern warning after receiving 2-3 hits.

not all of them are 'friendly' though so to speak, some harbor some sinister intentions. There's one cannibal that will eat your other NPCs, but it's easy to piece together which one he/she is ;)

There's parts on a map where enemy NPCs just stand there chilling with their backs turned and they don't look very different from her, so it's fucking confusing.
I might have been interested in Watch Dogs 2 if it wasn't for one thing.

it's a cool touch that she's holding the pendant you're looking for during the whole fight (which carries the password to the Forbidden Woods)
BTW there's an area to the left of Vicar Amelia, you can do it before fighting her if you want. It has a really really easy boss and the pay off is massive! Getting the ability to 'Gem' your weapons!
