By jjasper Go To PostLOL I beat the game with all the optional bosses and don't think I ever knew this. I was actually thinking about going back and getting the DLC since it is on sale this week and trying new game +.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the DLC (it's basically an expansion actually), it has five bosses, and three of them were genuinely in my top 5 best BB bosses :lol
it can be accessed early on as well, right after Amelia (incidentally, PSY's next boss :p) so if you're halfway through your run, then that's perfect!
it's almost worth it just for the sensational weapons

what stats are you currently leveling btw? Full Strength or going for Strength+Skill? Either way, don't neglect Vitality and Stamina (for more rolls and swings)
Bloodtinge and Arcane are viable (as a secondary stat mostly) but not for newcomers I feel
