Hopefully we can learn something about Vive 2nd gen here soon. Foveated rendering and I'm good. Really want to play RE7 in VR.
Valve making even one VR focused, decent length AAA or even AA-esque game would help immensely. I mean for fucks sake they've argued for VR, come out with their own OS and strange hardware...would it be that hard to make some compelling exclusive software?

Yes. It has an AC chip in it. When paired with an AC router, the speed over wifi is very close to what i get over a wired connection with my PC and X1.
thanks smokey
i need to reserve a ps4 pro soon tho. fighting through holiday islands on this little island is some dead island shit

Apparently the new PlayStation 4 VR headset also works with the Xbox One

Sony's got a brand new virtual reality headset: PlayStation VR. You use it by plugging the headset into your PlayStation 4, which powers the experiences therein.
And Sony's got 30 virtual reality games launching alongside the $400 headset. If none of those appeal to you, you can slap on the headset and play any PlayStation 4 game — rather than experiencing these games in an immersive virtual reality setting, games are projected onto a massive virtual screen. Lay on your back and play "The Last of Us" (or whatever).
Or, you could plug the PlayStation VR headset into your Xbox One. Which, um, what?
According to gaming site Polygon, plugging the PlayStation VR's HDMI cable into the back of the Xbox One enables a similar experience on Xbox One to what I described above with non-VR games on PlayStation 4.

beta had sick sniping mechanics and scout class got buffed for the final
Gotta admit, I had a big grin on my face when creating my own DBZ character. Can't actually play the game though.
I hate that Dimps continues to fuck up the feet when the characters are flying. They had it down during the Budokai era, the fuck happen.
Flying = relaxed feet.
Not this shit:
Still, whatever. I liked Xenoverse, gonna like Xenoverse 2.
Or just HD remaster Infinite World. I'll take that over Xenoverse 2.

As if the aim assist and lack of teamwork wasn't enough. Now you can transform into a one hit robot...dog?

I aint about that lone wolf life. I enjoy attack and defend far more.
Also that new mode, Operations. Isn't that basically Rush?

Tried the Dragon Quest Builders demo, decent game it seems but not one I can see myself putting hours into it. I miss demos, this is what they're useful for as a consumer.
Didn't seem to be a setting for turning off the sound it makes when the text is being displayed, which is awful. Its really shrill and loud, through headphones at least.

Found myself playing Phantasy Star Portable 2 again on my Vita (moved it over there during that Sony incident where they accidentally removed the restrictions on moving games to a Vita). I'm falling in love with the game all over again.
Would there be any interest in a public document or small site where we can all list our various gamertags in one spot so that others can view and add easily?

I was also thinking, and it'd be super easy for me to do: gamer tag in your profile and I add a simple directory on SLAENT for everyone to access?
By reilo Go To PostYes.I wonder if also being able to add games would also help. My thinking is that in the official OP of a thread, someone can provide a link that will show all users and their gamer tags they have associated with that game, as well as making it really easy to add your own to that filtered list.

Yea that's an interesting idea. I'd love it if it can live on the site somehow via profiles and/or a directory listing. It's a shame Sony/MS don't have an official public API to tap into so we could just associate accounts and pull games that way without the manual stuff. Steam offers it. It could also be expanded to other mediums like Good Reads, Last.fm, etc.

Don't expect it to have any styling. lol
Alright, I created a non-functional demo site to show the kind of functionality I would like: https://user-tag-associater.firebaseapp.com
Since the site is not functional (it's basically just a wireframe to show how it could look/work like), here is the general work flow:
By Game tab:
By User tab:
All the icons are just place holders. Ideally, they would be set to appropriate images. I.e. the user's avatar would match the one from the forums, the platform ones would match whatever iconography that platform prefers to use, and same for the games.
If anyone wants to take what I have and expound on it or make it actually functional: https://github.com/kibner/User-Tag-Associater
e: I think this post may be the first one on these forums to use a numbered list. It looks funky.
e2: derp, I forgot to make the users in By Game to actually show their gamer tag in the list. will go fix that now
Since the site is not functional (it's basically just a wireframe to show how it could look/work like), here is the general work flow:
By Game tab:
- Select a game from a dropdown
- Select a platform for the game from previous step
- A list of users is generated from the filters set in the previous two steps
By User tab:
- Type in a user's name
- List is populated with matching users. Click on the desired user to proceed.
- A list of gamer tags for that user is generated
- (Optional) Clicking on a platform generates a list of games that user has for that platform

I fixed the missing gamer tags under the By Game section. You may have to ctrl+F5 to get the changes.
