Man Bioshock still has crazy atmosphere. It runs fine on PS4, but I haven't played the original in so long, I don't have a reference for the improvements they've done. Gonna get through this and then play B2, which I heard is underrated.

The story does feel kind of shoehorned into the canon, but it plays great and the level design is top notch.
And Minerva's Den is better than the base game.

I beat BioShock multiple times on PS3 and have the Platinum trophy but I can't for the life of me recall what the fuck happened in the story. It was the main thing that kept me playing and yet I'm at a complete loss. The combat with plasmas were bland but I recall actually really being into the story despite the useless mute lead.

yeah, it's gonna take some getting used to. I think the reason you were airballing so many shots is if you were using the sticks, you have to either flick straight down or up to aim the shot.

i was. if i was in the right corner, i would pull the right analog stick back in towards the right. then i tried changing shooting to absolute, but that just felt weird.

i did the prelude thing...do you have to take literally every shot to become a top 5 pick or something. fuckheads in the postgame comments are 'blah blah needs to be more aggressive'. stupid 2k still not normalizing stats to 12 minutes
the UI change is fucking atrocious for on the fly play calling and the rest
again the new signature hesitation and size up control doesn't feel intuitive--in terms of actually just pulling off crossovers its fine, it's just something you can tell is going to be completely revamped in next years game. Will practice more with it when I get home.

Been playing some PES (4th match) seems a lot better than 16, which is great because that one was awful.
Some janky cutscenes though but AI and gameplay is solid.
