FFXV looks like scratching an itch I didn't even know I had. Loving Deus Ex, just spent like 2 and a half hours doing a single side mission objective.

I'm forever in the "there should be no TLoU sequel" camp. It's a tacky assembly-line side of gaming culture that demands one that I hate. Like, Citizen Kane made money too. Fans loved it. And the world is better off for there not being a sequel. TLoU and its ending should just be left as-is. Naughty Dog can make something else great instead.

I think the only way I would be ok with a sequel is if it is completely unrelated and tells another story in the same world with no Joel or Ellie (unless they are short cameo appearances)

My answer to that is...I don't know. I'm generally fine with them, but by the end of Twilight Princess I thought they were pointless. So they need to be implemented in a meaningful and interesting way. I'm mainly concerned with people saying the game feels like a grind and that the hand-holdy partner is condescending and annoying.

It's Dice and battlefield. You can be absolutely assured they are going to fuck it up badly at launch, and not fix it until several months after release.

FWIW, SS was designed with the Wii Remote as the main control function. I can't speak on the rest since I haven't played SS strictly due to the controls.

The game teases you about what it could have been all along in those later sections where it throws so many infected at you and you have all your tools to deal with it. It's this fun kind of puzzle that only lasts in the game for a couple of hours.
Let the sequel be something like a AAA version of State of Decay except with all the great cinematic stuff that Naughty Dog can bring to the table and building on the more visceral foundation that TLOU built.
Leave the original characters out of it for all I care.
