Some of the art elements are a little much for me.

and I think all their games feature some relatively complex crafting mechanics, which I've personally never been much of a fan of in RPGs

New Final Fantasy gatcha game came out on mobile (Mobius Final Fantasy). Played it past the tutorial and I dunno. I'm enjoying the hell out of Brave Exvius, but this one isn't grabbing me. Part of the reason is due to the UI being fucking horrendous. There is so much shit everywhere. The home screen is a cluttered mess and even with the tutorial, I'm not sure I processed everything that I should have, regarding the systems at play.

Internet speeds been tanking. Called up Comcast, they said yeh shit looking weak we'll send a technician. Dude spent two hours here. He checked the outlet at the wall, the box outside, and the attic. Did a full operation. Afterwards we tested it over Wi-fi and to a server thousands of miles away:

I might try to level up in BDO again and reach the desert area. I burned myself out a bit and took a break after hitting 50 on my Sorc. I would have to grind to probably 52 to deal with Desert area. Apparently there's an actual dehydration mechanic that requires you to have water on hand to stay alive.

I had mostly quit the game until gw2 guildies asked me to powerlevel them. Blasting through large groups of mobs made me think about how top-down Diablo/Gauntlet clones don't have much to offer me now. If I want to shred through large packs of mobs for loot, I can do that in BDO or GW2. I often get better combat in these games and a whole entire world on top of it.

I did transfer servers in GW2 because I was getting bored killing bad players in lower tiers. The server's community is ugly, so I just stick to the guild runs.

Been playing a little NBA 2k with the Viper roster that has Joerger as Kings coach and the rookies.

I forgot to pack the power cord for my computer when getting ready for QuakeCon so I went to Fry's after I got to Dallas to get a new one. While browsing (because I don't have any such thing back home), I spied the MSI Gaming X 1070 and picked it up. It's a huge upgrade from my 670 so I'm looking forward to playing with it tomorrow.

Destiny was saved because Activision had Blizzard sit down with Bungie and tell them how they turned around Diablo 3. Ubi just doesn't have that kind of rescue squad talent to airlift in.
