By RATHasReturned Go To PostFor multiple reasons.i mean... i'd feel bad for the chargers and i'd hate the owners forever for moving the raiders
but the rams? st. louis can eat a dick lol
By RATHasReturned Go To Posthttp://deadspin.com/reports-chargers-and-rams-will-relocate-to-la-share-s-1752593831Okay, well that's that. Inglewood will be fun for those near by residents. I say that as someone who lives about a par 4's distance from where the Ravens and Orioles play.
I feel bad for the St Louis natives who got used to their stolen team for 20 years.
How fucking dope is this though

My entire family stopped watching football when the Rams left. Large reason I never became a big NFL fan.
Well if I ever start watching football I imagine I'd align myself with the Rams now. Have lived in the Bay longer now than when I grew up in SoCal but I find it hard to cheer for any Bay team. I tried cheering for the Raiders and A's but just did not care enough no matter what they did lol.

chargers gonna be the jr squad for years i hope
St. Louis sucks really bad as a city. I've been there too many times and I will never go voluntarily again.
By reilo Go To PostNo, you're correct. It's mind boggling. It's a game of rich people getting richer and rarely an owner that is in it for the competition. As a Bears fan I can confirm.
By Moris Go To PostI need this shirt.one of the few backs that literally didn't need a line
I feel conflicted. On one hand, considering my disposition as a Sonics fan, I'm a bit disgusted at the callousness that the NFL has treated the fanbases of these teams during this entire situation. Especially with the Rams owner acting the way he was when discussing the plans that St. Louis suggested to the NFL. In fact, how is St. Louis the only city that gets screwed here, even though they're the only city with a publicly funded stadium plan on the table?
On the other hand, the Rams have a ton of history in LA, more so than even the Raiders. So, them going back to LA makes more sense, even though the move is still gross.
LA-Slaent, enjoy the Rams! Now you guys get to see your team beat the Hawks twice per season. Alas, that will be the height of your season for the next few years.

By BertramCooper Go To PostIt's hard to feel sorry for Rams fans considering they're all Cardinals fans as well.
How is it hard to feel bad for the best fans in sports?!
By Dark PhaZe Go To Postjersey redesign?
As long as they ditch the trashy gold colors, we good!

This is like The Thunder moving back to Seattle in 2028. Except The Rams were in LA longer than The Sonic's were in Seattle.
Yeah part of me is sad about St. Louis losing their team... then I remembered it was an LA team to begin with. Also St. Louis didn't exactly garner sympathy with me in the aftermath of the backlash of the players protesting the Ferguson shooting. So um...
sorry not sorry

I just argued with a co-worker whether the Rams will have trouble selling tickets in LA. I said they won't have any issues even if they are a bad team.
The prices are gonna be insane too.
I'm hoping to make it to a game but I might get priced out. LA really has been football starved, For a city with no team for 20 years, you'd be surprised how down for The NFL LA residents are.

Considering USC Trojans have no problems filling the Coliseum, I don't see how an NFL team will have too many issues.
Two teams though? Yea, that's a tougher sell.

The biggest obstacle is going to try and convert those who are NFL fans and picked a team to follow in the NFLs 20 year absence. LA has Cowboys, Pats, Packers, 9ers, Raiders and Charger fans in significant numbers, but the casual market in LA is giant.
Two teams would mean that facility is actually being used more but LA area traffic already is ass though so have fun with that.
By Moris Go To PostI'm on board with this. I'm sick of teams toning down their colors.
Blue becomes navy, yellow becomes gold, bright colors get darkened in general. The Broncos, Pats, Eagles, and Rams are all guilty of this.
Late 90s and 00s was tons of teams across sports basically making all of their colors grimdark and serious. Also switching to the same dark hues of blue and adding in black. So glad the Niners scrapped their dark red too.

Their kelly green unis with silver wings are amazing, and they've been stuck with an awful look for a looooong time. Bad color, bad font, cliched "angry" animal logo...
The Niners need to toss their black unis into the bonfire speaking of them. The epitome of black for black's sake.
Yeah when they came out with the black unis I just went "Wtf." But it manages to be a lesser issue in regards to just about everything else wrong with the team.
I wonder if tickets will be cheaper while in the Colosseum? Best opportunity to watch might be in the first year or two even with all the craze that will surround the team. When that stadium goes up in 2019 though ... yeesh.
You're going to have to know someone who knows someone who is related to Denzel to get a reasonable seat when that Inglewood park opens. Going to be a hot spot that opening year. Super Bowl week will be fucking madness.
I am good with the Rams move since they were stolen like the Sonics by a shitty owner from LA to begin with
I would be shocked if the Rams don't revert to the old yellow-blue color scheme.
I have a natural aversion to that color combo, given my Ohio State loyalty, but purely as a move to embrace the team's heritage, I think it's a great (and obvious) move for them to make.

It's funny how after all this time, all the talk, all the plans. The LA Rams are still going back the Coliseum.
nfl ain't shit
they also can't decide if our "home" team is the broncos or the kc chiefs
make up your fucking mind about which jersey i'm never going to buy

The National Football League’s Rams left behind more than bitterness when the team ditched St. Louis for Los Angeles last month - it left a stadium saddled with about $144 million in debt and maintenance costs. What a piece of shit league.
Taxpayers will now shoulder the remaining payments for the Edward Jones Dome with only the help of revenue from tractor pulls, volleyball tournaments, concerts and the like.
By reilo Go To PostWhat a piece of shit league.
At least the LA Stadium isn't using public funds. Also ... pretty amazing ST. Louis was willing to go into more debt just to keep the team.
