By pkaz01 Go To PostThey don't give a fuck, I don't know how Hornacek has a job and how McD still hasn't done anything. 9 game losing streak. Their best player is coming off the bench for no reason. Hey tj you started two games and scored 29 and 19 lets bring you off the bench for no reason.LITERALLY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH McD. HE'S HAD HIS BALLS TAKEN FROM HIM WITH THE FIRING OF THE ASSISTANT COACHES WHO WERE "HIS GUYS".
It's basically all on sarver. Shits just fucking stupid.
I really hope sarver buys a cotton farm, cause you know he'll say something fucking stupid.

Afflalo's big night. By my math 9 of his made shots / drawn fouls came in the half court offense including a couple off of offensive boards and the spacing. Good balance.

By pkaz01 Go To PostCan sarver be considered racist to millenials? Is that good enough Silver?also, sorry, left over dota rage compounded.
The whole issue really is now on Sarvers idiocy in refusing to choose a direction and continuing to hedge his bets. The organisation needs direction, and the top of it can't pick one.
I'm just glad someone is teaching Nick Young CPR, he needs it after the season is over to use on his career.
ESPN gettin in on the Black Boy Fly moniker.

Total envy of him

By PSYCH! Go To Postso the organization is a mess?as long as dy wasn't right
By PSYCH! Go To Postso the organization is a mess?the org it self seems to be good, just utterly directionless because sarver can't pick one way or the other.
I thought the Suns were planning to tank but Hornacek's offense was too effective. They then went along with it, but never fully along with it. Ended up with redundant players and no playoffs.
A soft argument for having a Byron Scott to make sure you tank without fail.

Farcical.

Tom Haberstroh @tomhaberstrohEven worse than the Sixers bruh.
Yikes: Since mid-Dec, the Suns are an NBA-worst -135 in plus/minus. (Teams have played ~10 games in this sample)
I don't really give a damn about power rankings (especially since MEM ain't in the Top 5 anywhere...), but the Suns being dead last in NBA.com's Josh Scuhuhmann rankings AFTER the Lakers & Sixers is just... ERF.
trying to figure out how boston is in the green when they were 4+ games above .500 last time I checked
Both the Thunder's and Spurs' upcoming schedules are easy as hell. We could hardly lose a game and even lose ground in the standings.
At least the 3-seed looks like a strong possibility right now. We aren't beating the Dubs or Spurs without a substantial move to improve our wing rotation, and I'm not sure if there's a deal out there to be had given our assets.

By Dark PhaZe Go To Posttrying to figure out how boston is in the green when they were 4+ games above .500 last time I checkedThe data for that graph is for games since mid-Dec. Ex: for the season, MEM is over .500 but in the minus because they always get blown out in the most dramatic ways by good shooting teams; but they're in the green in that data sample.
I been talking shit about Hornacek and the Suns for a long time. They're not Houston levels of Moreyball trash, but they were massively overrated by fans.
"They run a lot of PnR and chuck a lot of 3's" seems to be the only criteria for a good coach nowadays. In any case, he's lost the team. And it doesn't matter who you are, once it gets to this stage you either fire sale the entire roster or you fire him. And the former has probably not happened in decades, if ever.

By rodeoclown Go To PostAnd yet, when Hornacek gets fired, I'd hire him a second later to take over for Smitch.
I mean yea, Smitch is terrible. But the dude managed to want a 3rd PG despite everyone in the outside calling it a ticking timebomb - and then alienate two of his 4 best players to the point that they had to be traded. And then the very next season - lose the entire locker room and the support of the remaining two best players.
However decent his x's and o's are - the dude clearly has no ability to control a locker room for more than a single year.
How much of alternating PnR with Rubio/Wiggins/Lavine with the other two guys standing around at the 3 point line do you think these guys are going to take before they're fed up with his "take turns" offense.

I don't see how he wasn't consulted on the IT move. Considering how much praise his "guard heavy" offense was receiving at the end of that first year, it would make sense to want a starting caliber 3rd guard to keep it going.
I could be wrong, maybe he warned them against it and they just didn't listen.

Everything points to him being the super involved ownder who really doesn't know aht he's doing.

Around the time of the Dragic trade there was heavy belief that even though Goran literally claled out the manegment and said he didn't trust hem and was lied to, Sarver was going to be spiteful/crazy enough to not trade Dragic just to not to satisfy Goran's trade demands.
By diehard Go To PostYou also talked shit about Snyder too sooo…
To be fair, I talked shit about falling in love with Snyder while trashing coaches with similar records and talent levels. I never singled him out as a bad coach, I just singled him out for guys in Jazz-Age falling head over heels for him while he had a pretty bad record - especially in the early parts of last year.
He's clearly a keeper.
