By blackace Go To PostKemba is basically the John Starks of PGs…Kemba's clutch tho. One thing I'll never hate on him for.
when he is on he is on…
And he's probably still on his ssj shit when it comes to the playoffs again...
I just take solace in the fact that he's the third or fourth best player on the team
Who's the best and second best, MKG, Batum and Marvin Williams?
Wait Josh Smith was traded today and he played in a Rockets game the day he was traded? what. he even went 1-10, truly the rockets savior.

Batum
Al Jeff or Kemba
By shun Go To PostWho's the best and second best, MKG, Batum and Marvin Williams?it's fun to hate on the rockets.. but Smith isn't valuable for scoring. His passing and on ball D are still awesome, he had 2 stl, 3 blks, 6 ast in 21 mins?

Hey Dy remember when Marvin Williams was a 2 nd pick?
By Dipro Go To Posti just remembered that Frankman thought Knicks had a chance against LACYou coming here talking some fine mess now... If you stop cherry-picking the game was contingent on the Knicks that won those other couple games showing up. The other Knicks showed up.

Glass houses my friend.
I thought the Knicks had a chance too. Winning like 6 in a row at home - 7 of their last 8 when Melo played. All signs pointed to a competitive match.
Then the Knicks came out and laid an egg. Good news is there has been so few of these kinds of games all season. You can count on one hand the number of wire to wire blowout losses they've dealt with all year.

They are letting King Cake Baby make public appearances outside of the arena. I am unreasonably happy about this news.

Within days of the start of the past season, James began expressing doubt that Blatt would work out as the Cavs' long-term answer. That was crystallized during a road trip to the West Coast in the second week of the season, when James and Irving began a bit of a tug-of-war over control of the offense. Blatt seemed powerless to control them, and if he tried, it didn't work.GOAT Coach Killer.
Shortly thereafter, James changed his role in the Cavs' offense and began playing point guard while moving Irving off the ball. In conjunction with the move, the Cavs, naturally, started moving away from the Princeton sets Blatt had installed during the preseason. James nonchalantly told the media he didn't consult Blatt on the changes.
"No, I can do it on my own," James said. "I'm past those days where I have to ask."

Of course that assumes Knicks show up.;) You wouldn't remember it you didn't post much in the summer.
By reilo Go To PostGOAT Coach Killer.
Coaches should really stop trying to install the Princeton. We're past the days where players have the patience for it.
And Lebron is the worst offender ever as far as needing to be ball dominant all game for someone who's not a point guard. It honestly probably gets worse over time if his shot continues to be the asscheeks that it is.
Honestly, offenses are so efficient now that even the Triangle needs to be slightly modified. We're past the days where you can set up the format with any 5 interchangeable pieces and operate. You have to decisively set it up to your strengths 80-90% of the time. Get the ball to Afflalo in the low post a lot. Let Lopez seal his man deep. Run lob automatics for Porzingis and Melo and DWill a combined 5-8 times a game. Run single doubles for your best catch and shoot guys like Calderon and Afflalo. Put Melo at the elbow 10 times a game and make sure the guy getting an offball screen on the weakside to pop out for a catch and shoot 3 is your best shooter.
I think that's the next evolution of this team, having figured out their strengths, exploiting them practically every time down.
By etiolation Go To PostI'm sure the Warriors could run Princeton and already use more than a few of its principles.
Warriors run everything. They're a hodgepodge of triangle/Princeton/D'Antoni/pop. But the difference is everyone plays off the ball really well. Cuts, screens, etc. Also, winning allows for patience.
Lebron will always resort to "I'm the best in the world just let me work" when the team is struggling.
By 3SidedPolygons Go To PostAnd Lebron is the worst offender ever as far as needing to be ball dominant all game for someone who's not a point guard.Hah.
By Sharp Go To PostHah.
If this is a dig at Kobe - Kobe played in the triangle for a decade and regularly dumped it down into Pau/Shaq/Bynum etc to isolate.
Lebron passes, but he's ball dominant and plays very much like a point guard.
It's all rehtoric isn't it? There's a 100 little reasons, and a lot of slights one can put on LBJ, the very imperfect super star.
But, the real reason Blatt was fired, is a terribly run organisation.
But, the real reason Blatt was fired, is a terribly run organisation.
At the end of the day the owner made the decision, so regardless of how much weight Lebron had on it or not, he doesn't do the hiring or firing.

If anything it's indicative of how more and more money infects the actual point of the whole endeavor.
Wait, what? Lebron wanted Marc Jackson to be the coach and Lue was the compromise? Da fuck? Was this posted earlier and I just missed it?

"I talked to the guys early in the meeting I told them I want to try to play 10 guys. Our goal is the long haul of getting to the playoffs, then we can kind of shorten the rotation. As of now, I want to try to play 10 guys so that way we can keep guys ready so we won't run into the same problem we ran into last year in the Finals where guys went down and the guys we played, they didn't have a lot of flow to their game because they hadn't played in awhile. I'm going to try to look at ittonight, just try to play 10 guys, get Mo (Williams) back in the rotation. I'm letting him, Delly (Matthew Dellavedova) and Shump (Iman Shumpert) play a lot together so we have three ball handlers on the floor. It's going to be a work in progressthis dude consider Shumpert as ball handler?

The firing was fine. Regular season records are useless without proper context. Cleveland might have a nice gm. Won The okc/nyk trade and now this.
