YA'll didn't believe me about Afflalo.
Edit: They've really gone away from Melo or Porzingis at the pinch post on the weak side. Those FT line jumpers are pretty much automatic for those guys. But when AAA is cooking like this, gotta keep giving him these 3's.

Afflalo has these games where he reverts back to Orlando Afflalo. Unfortunately it's once every three weeks. He's still not scoring consistently in the framework of the Triangle, most of his points have come from pushing tempo or Iso. Now if Knicks didn't run most of their sets with a Triangle setup, hey no problem!

By Sharp Go To PostI still don't believe you about Afflalo, given that he's sucked ever since he left Denver and is 30 now.Actually that's not true, he was good in Orlando.
By Sharp Go To PostI still don't believe you about Afflalo, given that he's sucked ever since he left Denver and is 30 now.Leave it to homers to think it's a good thing that he's scored as much in the current game as in the last 4 combined...
That Porzingis pass should have been delivered a half second later, and as a lob. Melo had an open lane for that lob.
By The Frankman Go To PostActually that's not true, he was good in Orlando.I didn't really watch much Magic those years, but all his advanced $tats from that time aren't very good.
Clippers win% with only one of CP3 and BG must be really good, they never seem to suffer much if one is out.

He's been good all year and really bad the last 3 games. He's a great role playing 4th option for this team/offense. He was shooting 49% from the field about a week and a half ago.
By Zeus Ex Machina Go To PostNow let us see if the Knicks don't shit the bed in the second half like they tend toothis is the second half, room for fuckery for sure though.

The only good thing about him this year is he's actually generating a few rebounds/steals/assts on occasion, too many times he only has like 1-2 rebounds and assists in a game. Even his D hasn't been anything of note.

Yea I don't buy that at all. He gets a ton of his points in the triangle, in the post, and in the 3's when double teams come and they swing the ball around.

He was injured for 2 weeks. But he's been good for the entire time that he's been playing save the last few games. Up until like a week and a half ago he was leading the league in post up % and mid range %
By Gabyskra Go To PostLopez is 3 rebounds away from his second double-double of the season…Needs to keep his spot in NY
By Gabyskra Go To PostLopez is 3 rebounds away from his second double-double of the season…What? Lmao
It kills be to see how Galloway is miscast right now. He should be driving to the hoop and dishing, but Knicks basically are making him spot-up. He's not a shooter.

Offensive foul pfft
13/8 on 60% shooting
18/1/3 on 64% shooting
13/2 on 50% shooting
14/4/2 on 43% shooting
15 on 46% shooting
29/3 on 65% shooting
22/7 on 69% shooting
18/4/3 on 57% shooting
16/5/3 on 35% shooting
10/3/1 on 40% shooting
That's just his December prior to his 3 game slump. You take that from your 3rd or 4th option with ease.
Edit: He did have a few single digit scoring games mixed in there too.

By DominicanPower Go To PostNow watch Afflalo not pass anymore after this game.Pretty much. He's had passing issues, which is funny since he played alot of PG in his career.

Galloway is definitely a shooter. Its what he was known for in college and he's shot well since coming to the league.

By masud Go To PostHuh? Galloway is definitely a shooter. Its what he was known for in college and he's shot well since coming to the league.I mean outside shooter/3 pt. guy. Most of his scores last year were based in drives to the hoop, I think he's only 40% from outside in his career, I have to find his shot chart again.

That's pretty damn good.
I like Grant seamlessly flowing into the Triangle when the PnR doesn't work. Much better than just taking it out and dribbling from 40 feet away. That pinch post give and go was nice.
By 3SidedPolygons Go To PostThat's pretty damn good. Not threes, I'm talking from 15-18 feet. Again, I need to find his shot chart.

He's 50% at the rim and 40% from 3. He's fine as a spot up shooter.
9 STRAIGHT LOSSES! Where you at?
