By darth n8er Go To PostBeing honest paid off? Yurt pls what has happenedlets just say the english broad had a little too much to drink yesterday, and there were so many witnesses, so out of respect for the dead or would be dead, the story had to be told exactly as it occurred.
Shall we talk about Ter Stegen.
I can't wait for the rollercoaster that is this transfer story to leave me lost, naked and ultimately heartbroken behind a kebab shop.

FootballFan, tell me how much you want for your second choice goalkeeper.
I found this on Twitter and it made me laugh.

I'd prefer to keep him. He's prone to some bad decisions but he's a great shot stopper with brilliant reaction. He's still young too, time to improve those smaller issues.
Bravo is better though, so it will be some time before ter stegen can start all competitions permanently. Champions league and copa del rey will have to do for now.
I wouldn't feel too bad if he went to Liverpool though, would be understandable, but he should know his time as permanent starter for barca will come.

By FootballFan Go To PostI miss Valdes that piece of shitServes him right. Really happy with Claudio in the net.
He didn't know how good he had it :(
@mohamedbouhafsiGuy was first on the Martial story too.
Apres l'avoir raté cet été, #MUFC va revenir à la charge pour Stones ! #EFC
After having missed this summer, #MUFC goes back to the load of Stones! #EFC
But selling Stones in January? Incredibly difficult. Doesn't hurt to try I guess.
Smalling-Stones future.
Laporte should be first choice target though.
I really don't care about the result tomorrow. I just don't want to get embarrassed like our away game at this point last year. Playing a new lineup would be nice though.
Scum.
I want you to record yourself playing Dark Arisen on PC.
And put it on YouTube.
I mean gameplay, not your face.

Same guy who's been talking about Ter Stegen, although apparently a few places will have it tomorrow.
United won't get Stones until the summer, and then it'll be an astronomical fee (which they can and should pay, of course).
Not their most important signing of the summer, though. That will be LVG's replacement.

By Cleff Go To PostPapers say LvG wants a striker this transfer window.Would Sane count as a striker? Probably not.
Good luck finding someone decent.
Don't really think there are any credible options available, although the upper echelons of football will descend on Lukaku in a few months.

Does it even matter who you buy?
By Arnie Go To PostWould Sane count as a striker? Probably not.Lukaku would be good. Someone who can hold the ball up but also quick enough to run the channels. Could work well off Martial I think. But impossible to get this month.

agreed
By Marston Go To PostPayet is back m8
2-0 West Ham
wait
wasnt he supposed to be back at like february?
Fucking hell.
The inverse Arsenal.
Lanesra Ham United
I hope Payet's leg falls off within the first 10. Teams rushing players back winds me right up. West Ham in general are just a bit shit. Fucking bubbles. What's all that about.
Want Coutinho to nutmeg their entire team tomorrow. We win, then I watch Swansea win, then I watch Chelsea Chelsea. Be a great day, that.

By Killer7 Go To PostTer Stergan is a bit shit.Mignolet's not a terrible goalkeeper, he just isn't going to develop into a top class one and has too many inbuilt deficiencies in his game.
But would probably be a slight upgrade on Mignolet.
Know nothing of Ter Stegen, to be honest, but I have to believe there are goalkeepers out there with a far greater ceiling than Mignolet who can come in and perform at or above his current level. And truthfully a new goalkeeper wouldn't see him leave immediately, but hopefully it means we would action my plan of firing Adam Bogdan into space.
By Oddinho Go To PostGod dammit a new thread? I was wondering why everyone fell so silent
Poor Odd.

Think Ter has made quite a few mistakes which led to his drop for Barca (not 100% sure of that), but ultimately think he's good enough to be a number 1 and should be playing regularly. Don't think he'll reach the highest level or come close to De Gea or Courtoise, but would definitely improve you guys.
Think you still need a CB, CM
ter stegen may not be a potential world class keeper but he's still an upgrade over Mig with some years to improve
By Killer7 Go To PostShould call Brad Jones back.Aye, people seem to think he's good but not in that top tier bracket, which is fine. Mignolet is solid but rarely spectacular and with serious faults in his game.

Regarding incomings we definitely need a central defender. Kolo is done/off to Sunderland if some are to be believed and Skrtel has an unbuilt proclivity towards manhandling opponents rather than defending space or reading the game. Lovren has been brilliant these last couple of games, but he's still Dejan Lovren. He will still karate kick an opposing striker needlessly during the most important game of the season.
Sakho is top and needs a proper partner, or someone who can challenge Lovren and Skrtel.
Midfield wise we're signing Grujic but Joe Allen will probably leave as his contract expires. Not entirely sure who we could get or which type of midfielder we actually need; most of our current stable seem capable of playing DM, with only Lucas showing he can excel there.
I dont think Ter Stegen is good enough to sub Mig.
If you're going for a new keeper, you should get better quality than him.

By Pelbell Go To PostI dont think Ter Stegen is good enough to sub Mig.Wasn't Ter Stegen like the highest rated German goalkeeper after Neuer? Hence the move from BM to Barca?
If you're going for a new keeper, you should get better quality than him.
I also don't think the reality of our current situation allows for us to sign the best goalkeepers in world football, so Ter Stegen's current situation is something we can exploit to get there eventually. Presuming he develops because he clearly has some problems with his game at the minute, although not playing regularly as a goalkeeper is far from ideal, especially playing for Barcelona.

Ter stegen is great.
He's not as good as Bravo atm but he's young and has the potential to be one of the best.
He is prone to doing something dumb, mainly this season, but on the whole he's a well rounded complete keeper imo.
