By Arnie Go To PostWhy? Because he was a great player? To be quite honest it'll serve him right for hoisting himself to the top of the pile rather than proving himself beforehand.
To the post above regarding the appointment coming halfway through a season, I think there are far bigger barriers to success than timing. Mainly:
- That your new manager has ZERO experience of being a successful head coach at any level of football (let alone the most elite)
- That your new manager has yet to even manage in a top league, success or not
- That your new manager, despite all of these clear deficiencies, is taking over a club that's inherently broken due to the imbalanced and reckless recruitment process
It's not even that he isn't anywhere near as exceptional as Pep (he isn't), but his working conditions are that much more difficult as Real Madrid aren't a club setup to succeed. Hence their lack of sustained domination at any sphere despite the tidal wave of corruption poured into the clubs finances each year.
Magnificent post, by a most magnificent Slaenter.
May Liverpool and their fans, find and experience all the joys this world has to offer.
By flabber Go To PostRegarding concern for missing members: what happened to Shanks - did he OD on silk and leather?his last post was an unintelligible drunk tweet to me
By Zabojnik Go To PostWell, so much for Isco.Fun fact: Isco is Zidane's favorite.
Congrats, RM fans!

By Hitch Go To PostMadrid will have a massive bounce with Zidane as manager, then go back to their current standard in February.Yep.
January "I really love how Zidane has the team playing like..."
Late Feb "ffs, Zidane needs to stop doing...."
By flabber Go To PostUncle Flo is the only person in the world who could make me feel a twinge of sympathy for Rafa.Looool
What a shithole organization, from bottom to whatever lowest depths to which it may plunge (there is no "top" per se, only ever descending bowels).
By Hitch Go To PostThere are plenty of top players who can play with one another, just look at Suarez and Neymar. They have the attitude to go with the ability,Wow Hitcher what a member of Slaent. <3
By Kikarian Go To PostI really, really hope we don't fall in this mess with appointing Giggs.Inevitable.
By Wedward Go To PostFfs lads. Lets try and get is safe for work. It's just a magic trick.
By Arnie Go To PostI cannot wait for Zidane to be an absolute fucking disaster. Let's see those white handkerchiefs as nobody knows what they're supposed to be doing and Barcelona are thirteen nil up.Liverpool fans are the best
And Ronaldo is sulking.
By FootballFan Go To PostLiverpool fans are the best
They are amazing.
By Frustrated_me Go To PostInevitable. It is, isn't it? If we do miss out on Mourinho and let Giggs take over, Woodward deserves sacking.
Fish dies and 3 days later Benitez gets sacked. The fish gave its life for you Benitez and look what you did.
By Arnie Go To PostMadrid fans, let's just clear this up, you're only getting worse from here on in.

By Kikarian Go To PostIt is, isn't it? If we do miss out on Mourinho and let Giggs take over, Woodward deserves sacking.I hear Rafa Benitez is available?
One thing wrt Rafa is that the players never listened to him. Marcelo, Ramos, Ronaldo, James, Isco, Modric.. All clearly were not listening to Rafa, to put it in simple form, Rafa doesn't command respect from players.
Zidane on the other hand does, Ancelotti once said "When Zidane talks, the players listen, no questions."

Can't agree with that. He's moving up within the club he spent a decent amount of his career, where he ended his career, and where he's worked for the last 4-5 years.
Would you have said the same about Kenny Dalglish if you were alive in the 80s?
Felipe Anderson posted a picture on his official Twitter account captioned “New Year, new opportunities. I am ready”

By inky Go To PostWhat a circus is Madrid, lol. Run by monkeys too. That's harsh, monkeys are quite intelligent.
Lol Zidane.
Gone before April. Back to some Madrid youth squad.
He knows what he's getting himself into, just wants to get in on that dirty perez money

By Pappe Go To PostUnited is signing player named Anderson. Hope it turns out better than the last Anderson we signed.Anderson had a few decent moments tbf.
By Bungie Go To PostCan't agree with that. He's moving up within the club he spent a decent amount of his career, where he ended his career, and where he's worked for the last 4-5 years. No, because I'm emotionally and totally invested in Liverpool Football Club so I'd have given anything to see him succeed (which he then did).
Would you have said the same about Kenny Dalglish if you were alive in the 80s?
I couldn't give one iota of sympathy for a club helmed by dickheads and driven by overpaid 'Galacticos".
If Liverpool sacked Klopp for Steven Gerrard there'd be an overwhelming majority of football fans in this country relishing in his potential failure. I think that's a more appropriate comparison (well, until you consider that Zidane didn't spend his entire career at Real Madrid).
By Das Go To PostI'll keep an eye out for Pique's tweets. Should be pretty entertainingLink to his Twitter please.

Cadena SER now retract their Zidane-Iker story saying they were duped.
finally saw that star wars thing all the kids been talking about
pretty fun movie that. Kinda like jurassic world where its just ripping a plot straight out an earlier film n sprinkling a bunch of nostalgic winks to all the cunts who care. But unlike Jurassic Shite actually liked the characters and script nearly made me laugh once or twice. Good stuff.
saying that couldn't stop giggling whenever the fat keanu reeves from heroes was on screen cos it reminded me of this https://youtu.be/A1kbCZSE5u4?t=14
also if you're gonna get the guys FROM THE FUCKING RAID don't have them get EATEN BY A CGI VAGINA
