Xbox360 is #Legit. Shame MS shat the bed and ruined the initial showing/unvieling of the Xbox One. The let Sony beat them to what the Xbox One would have been. But Yurt. Pls. Find a cheapo N64 on eBay or find a decent emulator. Mario 64 is still sensational.

My mate has just got something like this but I can't remember what it was called.

Yeah. that's too expensive. I was thinking about bringing any of my older consoles with me when I return to Uni in March or getting something cheap that could play old console games in a CRT but for that price it would be better to get a cheap HDMI TV and just bring my PS4.

I never liked Mario and probably never will. Zelda though was my Dark Souls ;_; I did borrow one to finish OoT and MM eventually

and I loved the idea of Pokemon Snap A LOT, but I never had time to finish it before returning the N64

All this talk about N64 reminds me of a summer a friend loaned me his N64. I think I spent almost every day playing Star Wars Episode I Racer. That thing was so good.

Manhunt, God of War 1&2, Timesplitters 2, SSX3

Any one of those games would be the best game on current gen consoles aside from remasters

A one console dominance does not seem that bad, if we go by the PS2 software variety, amount and quality.

PS2 was just a beast. It had the most diverse and complete catalogue of all times. I used a flip card on mine so I could get to play some weird japonese games and most importantly, Winning Eleven. It was so great to buy PES in the end of summer, then wait a few months for the new Winning Eleven, play that for 6 months and then buy the new PES in the end of the summer again. I had so many DVD's with patched versions of Winning Eleven and PES, the modding community for that was amazing at the time.
Also got to play the game with the best GODDAMN NET PHYSICS of all time, it's still unbeaten in that department. Game was great too, wish Namco would do another one for current gen.
PS2 was also where I played and completed many times my favorite game of all time, Silent Hill 2. It was really an eye opener to how games could be a profound and complex story telling device.

All through my life I've owned the Philips MSX VG 8010, bootleg Atari 2600 with tons of build-in games, bootleg NES (also with tons of build-in games), Mega Drive, brick Game Boy with the greenish screen, PS1, a Game Boy Advance, N64, PS2, PS2 Slim PSP-1000, aPSP Go (that I still use till this day), Dreamcast, GameCube, 2 Xbox360 ( thanks to the RROD), PS3 Slim, Wii, Vita and finally the PS4.
