TITLE: Dropped My Wii U Gamepad In A Bowl Of Cereal



Not a joke thread, although I wish it was. Anyway, the pad dropped in, knocked the cereal out of my lap, and the pad came up submerged. I dried it off as quickly as I could and called it a night.

Today a few of the buttons are sticking on the pad, more specifically the "L" buttons. It's pretty bad, and when they're pressed, they stick for a good 10 seconds. Otherwise, the pad seems to work great. I guess my question is, how the hell should I fix this? I'm not technically savvy enough to take it apart and clean it, at least as far as I know. How should I about cleaning/fixing this?

Would appreciate helpful feedback, don't want to spend $160 for a new Gamepad.

I got the N64 on release day. First person in a place of 50,000 people. I even pushed some cunt who tried to get ahead in the queue into a display stand.

I will always cherish that first morning with the N64. Me and a mate had stayed up all night because we were too excited. I got everything available and my mind was blown.

To cut a very long story short, I had everything in immaculate condition, 63 games, controllers, Memory cards, rumble paks, the lot.

It was all stolen from my house.

My step - grandparents took pity on me and bought me another. I built up my collection again. 56 games, 4 controllers, expansion pack, memory cards etc.

It was all stolen from my house.

I couldn't face trying again so for many years I didn't bother. I had EVERYTHING in immaculate condition - boxes and all.

Eventually, I started again with eBay. No boxes this time. I just couldn't afford the higher prices. Most of the games I have are boxless. It's all there; waiting for a time when I have the time and space to truly enjoy it again.

As for what I have currently. Not sure.

Pikachu, purple, orange, green and 3 black consoles. About 5 joypads. 4 memory cards, a couple of rumble paks and a couple of expansion paks.

But I will never have what I lost. It would be impossible to get what I had. It just isn't available anymore.

I still have the memories though.

Ultra 64 all the way.

Yes it's a 3DS (?) game about a Pikachu who's a detective and he helps (?) a boy for something
It's really good looking for now, and the JP trailer has Pikachu dubbed with a normal Japanese voice like he's a human.
It's basically a fat mouse in a Sherlock Holmes hat so someone started saying they should hire Danny Devito to do the English voiceover, someone made a fake trailer using Devito lines from other works and there you go, trending worldwide.
