By Hitch Go To Post4 players in the 11 alone is a significant turnover as well, especially when it doesn't include players coming through like Kane and Carroll.
Ok, but three of them are defenders and one of them isn't even first choice.
Not sure 4 in 11 is significant, not these days. Team is vastly improved too and seems to have a totally different character to it.
By batong Go To PostHas Lamela improved though?
Definitely
By Vivalapizza Go To PostDo you think Lamela actually thinks his hair looks good?
Definitely
By batong Go To PostHas Lamela improved though? He's the one from the Bale sale who I couldn't see turning it around, and has.
By Hitch Go To PostHope Dier is in England's first 11 by the summer
Who else have we got in DM?
By FortunéFaded Go To Post:lol
Not a DM by any means. Cracking CM though as long when he has the freedom to drift forwards or onto the right wing.
Hart, Clyne, Baines, Smalling, Cahill, Dier, Henderson, Alli, Sterling, Vardy, Kane.
There you go, Euro QFs guaranteed (couldn't think of a LB that wasn't crocked)

By Punished Go To PostHart, Clyne, Baines, Smalling, Cahill, Dier, Henderson, Alli, Sterling, Vardy, Kane.People will demand that Barkley starts, I'd rather have Alli in that attacking midfield position though, with the decently solid Henderson/Dier base

Henderson needs to calm the fuck down when he plays for England though.
By Hitch Go To PostRemember Besic's debut?
What a time that was

Lallana esque
By batong Go To Posthttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lKjcdQZqHoHis real debut, he played a shitty backpass with his first touch which lost Everton the game iirc

Still sounds Lallana esque.

Stones over Cahill for me. Apart from that, pretty tasty.
If we shunt Vardy back into a wide position, are we not just hoping that he carries his goal threat with him?
By confuziz Go To PostChadli will chadli the game
this could mean anything. incredible.

Suppose I'd play Theo wide left instead thinking about it.
Cahill isn't defensively much better than Stones, Stones is boss at bringing/playing the ball out, and Smalling is boss at covering on the occasion that goes wrong.
tldr: fuck Cahill
Not that Stones is world class or anything. These Euros are a great chance to get a young group of players together, and let them develop as a team while being capable of making an impact in the tournament.
Hodgson may well derail that by having us clank as we've never clanked before, but still.
