ah i love all of his cosmic stupidity. something wonderfully indulgent how his books are a mental patchwork where characters appear and reappear (watch out for hugo in bsg). stuff like part five (i think?)'s endless metaphysical fantastical gobbyledook is why i love his 6 stranded affairs like Cloud Atlas so much and Jacob de Zoet slightly less

Thus began the Age of oil clubs. But soon the oil will run dry and only economical degrees will remain. Even now there are only embers, and man sees not light, but only endless nights. And amongst the living are seen, carriers of the accursed zebra sign

Black Mass was really bad, except for Joel Edgerton, avoid at all costs. Steve Jobs was, I dunno, I loved the gimmick of the movie but not so much the movie itself?

The former will be on Netlix this month, no?
