By Pelbell Go To PostNah, Ozil was never that bad. He was injuried in the first part of last season and was very decend in the second.
He did came as world class late (his 3rd season).
Ozil was really really bad for a long stretch, and when I say really bad, he was just out of sync with the team, and setting up chances his teammates couldn't finish. The player's quality was there, but anyone can look like shit when they haven't gelled properly.
I'm not saying Firmino is as good as Ozil, but he's far from the worst on our team and is surrounded by shit. I mean Lucas, Moreno and Benteke were *so* bad today.
By Oddinho Go To PostYeah, just like Ozil was last year or whenever he was total shit for 75% of the season? He still has the most assists in our team and has set teammates up on a fucking plate only for them to fluff their shot every time without fail.
Nah... Ozil was good in his first season, dropped in the first half in the next season, then got injured and came back as a quality performer. Not at the level he is now, but still good enough to push us to two FA Cups. You guys broke the Bundesliga transfer record for this guy
By Hitch Go To PostKlopp is destructively arrogant if he thinks we don't need huge changes
Klopp is not a moron, there is no way he rates some of these donkeys. Like Poch last season he's working with a squad full of shit that someone else bought. He will buy or promote a whole new spine this summer, the current one has no offensive quality or defensive nous. A negative goal difference after half a season is something you should see with bottom feeders, not Liverpool.
I think it's it's the quality and lack of balance that are making a lot of players looking worse than they are (Firmino and Benteke).

Firmino will come good, i agree with u on that.
Fully disagree on your opinion about Ozil tho :P
By Hitch Go To PostGood
I find it hard to believe he wasn't better than Frazier Campbell, Wickham, and Chamakh in training. Maybe not Bolasie, but then Bolasie was rubbish when he played up top
I wonder if Pardew would consider Chelsea. I mean, his trajectory is clearly headed upwards from Palace, but what does he want? England? Ride out his Palace contract?
Benteke and Firmino are so frustrating because you know there's some quality in there. None of it coming out though.

The next thing on his mind is clearly a big club imo. And i think he deserves it. What he's doing at Palace shows that.
Don't think he wants England right now.

i want to watch arsenal
and united
and stoke
and leicester
at the same time
There really should be some type of Redzone channel for the Premier League games. Slizz knows what I'm talking about.
The biggest problem we have that I can see is that we have
Lallana
Coutinho
Firmino
Ibe
Can
Every single one of those players wants to hold the ball, take a few touches, break into space or play a quality pass. None of our attackers show the urgency to release the ball early when the situation is still dangerous. We had Henderson for 2 games and we won both of those, he was a shining light in that team, putting balls behind the defense as soon as we were in possession. Can and Lucas has no attacking impetus whatsoever as a pair. Ibe, Firmino and Coutinho slow down play too much. Benteke is deathly afraid of the football.
We just don't move quickly enough or with any confidence.
Klopp came in half way through the season into a congested and hectic schedule and an injured squad that he had no say in building. I mean that's an impossible job for anyone.

Resigned to us losing today. Gills been decent this year and we've been poop gainst em last few years. Devante Cole gets his first start since November, hope the lazy cunt actually tries or we are getting a pumping
also demarai gray is not the squad against #statsford
having a medical at unnamed prem club

The business we've done since losing Suarez has set us back 3 years or so probably
If there's no clearout, next season is a writeoff as well. If there is a clearout, next season is probably a writeoff. Christ, we need a clearout just to get the funds to rebalance the squad. Absolutely flooded in some areas, sparse in others, and still reliant on an injury prone player up front.
Probably have to go all in for the Europa League now, and there's fuck all chance we're winning that.

The Leicester vs Bournemouth game screams goal fest
I'm worried as Ramsey is due a thigh injury any game now.
And Pardrew should get the Man Utd job imo

It only takes a few clever transfers to completely revive a team, you don't necessarily have to clear it out.
Don't you dare disappoint me, Captain Ghostzil.
Watching United because lol, United. Is LVG fired yet?

In League One? Surely not.
By Oddinho Go To PostIt only takes a few clever transfers to completely revive a team, you don't necessarily have to clear it out.Think there are a fair few players who have no place in our squad/team, even if we sign players elsewhere to negate the negative impact they have on the team.
Mignolet, Bogdan, Toure, Skrtel, Moreno, Lucas, Can, Allen, Lallana, Milner, Benteke
All of them would either be told they have no future at the club, or won't be in our first 11 if it was up to me and replacements were lined up.
I think Moreno would be fine if we could afford to have a fullback with the freedom to vacate his position, but we simply don't get any reward from it nearly enough to make up for the issues it causes imo.
Are the Newcastle players so stupid that the coaches think they have to shout instructions at them every second of the game.

bayern's players apparently are because pep gives out instructions every millisecond.
