So I went and got married...

Hey everyone!
It's been a while since I've been able to get on the board and wanted to say I've definitely missed the interaction with everyone here for quite a bit!
As some of you guys are aware, I got married last month (in fact, today is my 1 month anniversary!) and it's been a crazy first month! The wedding itself was just so much fun. It was a traditional Indian wedding that basically lasted 2 weeks and it was nonstop partying and celebrating. The wedding and surrounding events went exactly as planned for which we're so thankful. Families both had a great time which was important to us. Lots of travelling back and forth between home in Atl and back to New York for family festivities and events since then but it's been a blast so far.
We finally have some time to ourselves now and due to work, probably won't be taking our honeymoon until early summer 2016. Definitely looking forward to what s to come.
Any advice from the married folks here that have been doing this a lot longer than I have?!

Don't discuss marriage arguments or any conflicts outside of your household. Not even with friends or family. Solve all of your problems together and alone. Your problems should never spill out. My wife and I stick to this rule hardcore.

I think people who don't want the drama or something.
Congratulations!
Meanwhile I'm out here engaging in all types of fuckery. In other words, I'm too young for this post.

Best advice possible. Thankfully we both agree about this. In fact, it was hilarious because both our mothers gave us the same advice and said keep them out of it lol.

Saw the pics, looked like a great time h3ro, hope you have plenty more coming!
Sure, the people you talk to should understand they don't get to interfere too much... but shielding away all external advice is the best way to maintain abusive patterns over the long haul. That's how sects operate. At least read some Dan Savage from time to time. ;)

Mando in any adult relationship. Got friends who spill their guts about their Significant Other and expect me to not lose respect for em when they're showing their ass or acting childish.
