DB Signal: Graphic Design/Font Help
Hello DB, I was wondering if you knew how to do this gradient or font?
font that work best and how to get the changing colors behind it? I am practicing photoshop and I thought doing this would help me learn to use it more. I only use photoshop and lightroom for photos and changing tones, curves, exposure and things like that. No real experience with these kind of layout.

Will totally assist once I get home, looks similar to bookman but I shall check my serifs. In photoshop easiest way is rotating/skewing text, making outlines, rastering type then merging the layers so you can then overlay with gradient.
This is definitely the type of thing illustrator is better for though.

Thank you very much, I'll do my best to learn but please be patient with me.
No need to rotate or skew, just font and learning how to get the right changing color outline for it. I'll definitely try out Illustrator and find language support for that. I only have photoshop and lightroom at the moment.

Having a hell of a time finding that particular typeface, the ones that come the closest are Otama, Century or some kind of Bodoni. Better off just tracing it with a pen tool since it's so varied in the serifs with the serif of the crossbar of that F being so big.
Threw up an example of the text I rasterized and merged layers with a shape. Then outlined with a gradient.
