RT @SamBorden: BREAKING: Swiss police, acting on behalf of US, currently arresting many top FIFA officials at Baur au Lac hotel in Zurich. Story @nytimes.
ZURICH — Swiss authorities began a new series of pre-dawn arrests Thursday in the broad investigation, led by United States officials, into corruption in international soccer. More than a dozen people were expected to be charged, law enforcement officials said, nearly doubling the size of an already huge case that has upended FIFA, soccer’s multibillion-dollar governing body.http://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/03/sports/fifa-scandal-arrests-in-switzerland.html?_r=0
Wonderful.
Hoping that one day Beckenbauer is among those assholes.
Curious who from the upper area of FIFA will be involved this time.

OH BABY!
I love how they still insist on calling it soccer. As we clearly don't deserve to name it anyway. Well, whatever our new overlords say I guess. <3

I dunno if you know this, but football is a different sport in the US, the country in which the New York Times is based. They likely don't want to confuse their readers.
