A fun game I'm playing is guessing how many guys in this game actually get run on a decent NBA team.
By knux-future Go To PostMake the Lakers look good brehswe'll collapse by the 4th as usual. book it.
fuck
By DY_nasty Go To PostLawson not even playing shows how fucked Houston isHe played 20 minutes last game. Overlooked? DMo's been injured. Capela's starting. Who the fuck is Nick? Like, it's been an undeniably disastrous start to this season, but try to be a bit more accurate before you go off.
I knew they'd have trouble integrating Ty into Houston's GetHardenanMVP offense, but a dozen games into the season and they already gave the fuck up. Shit is a joke and I hope all of those overlooked guys (Dmo, Nick, Jones, Capela, etc) end up in better spots.
Shit is just trifling and JV
By etiolation Go To PostLawson can be a great bench guy that runs things while Harden rests. I thought that would be how they use him. This is how they were supposed to have eased him in. Earlier in the season he was hesitant to pull up from midrange, but he at least played with pace. He'd drive and make passes our bigs weren't expecting, and I thought it'd just be a matter of time before they developed enough chemistry to be able to finish off those plays. There was no way he could have developed playing alongside Harden and his 'aimlessly dribble for 18 seconds' bullshit.
Phil Pressey is the only guy who can drive to the rim.
and I just found out he existed a week or so ago

I'm not sure I want to witness the fuckball that will playout late in this game.
By rodeoclown Go To PostI think I kinda like Robert Covington. He's pretty solid.Their best player imo.

He's my favorite player on the team..and probably the only one I don't hate. Noel has his moments
So if we win, it seems like odds are better than normal for a NO and a NJ win as well. At least I can hope
By vic Go To PostUm, the Sixers will also collapse in the 4th…Good point.

It just shows they have no idea what they're doing. Dmo and Jones both declining to re-sign, Capela should've been getting attention last year, Nick Johnson HAS to be better than Jason Terry.

But the offense in Houston isn't meant to do anything other than get Harden off, and its been like that forever.
The Lawson trade literally got a coach fired and a MVP-runner-up look like a barely more efficient version of a 37-year old Bryant.

34 year old Bryant was amazing. Harden is trash.
"Harden is trash" but about every other team would trade their current and future assets to get him. I hate how people are just so quick to dismiss players, just to further their own dumb agenda, like promoting Kobe's legacy ad nauseam. You know that you won't be surprised when Harden bounces back shooting wise.
By DY_nasty Go To Postwhat's amazing to me is how russell plays like a slow ass kemba that's just more willing to pass
Still prefer him to Al Jefferson with a drinking problem

Hell, Harden in MVP form just proved that even at his best he ain't getting you anything other than an amazing collapse in the playoffs.

Lol. So depressing and funny at the same time.
Lol Gaby - I'm not down to turn my franchise over to an alcoholic who plays no defense.

It's his effort overall, ESPECIALLY in the defensive end that's beyond garbage this season.
Garbage "can't decompose and has a negative impact to the environment" tier.
By DominicanPower Go To PostI'll take Lawson and his DUI's over the slow footed Calderon.Plus the last year of Lawson's deal is non-guaranteed. You can essentially try him out for this year, dump him if he doesn't work and save 12 mill. It hurts to lose Early but the dude isn't even playing right now. Bring up Thanasis from the D-League to take his spot.

we really about to lose to a 2-16 team after playing legit teams close.

prices were raised for tonight. Some games do that (like most Cavs games for example). Tonight is also Moses Malone night.

We don't have any Slaent members who are from Italy, right?
By DY_nasty Go To PostThere's like no excuse to kill Lawson's minutes like they've done throughout the season though. It just shows they have no idea what they're doing. Dmo and Jones both declining to re-sign, Capela should've been getting attention last year, Nick Johnson HAS to be better than Jason Terry. This is true. I have no idea what they did to prepare in the offseason. He played heavy minutes during that 4-win streak, got benched, but was never utilised properly off of it. DMo has been injured, and has been so for a long time now. I don't know what to make of Jones. In my mind we were supposed to keep one of them, but it's been hard to determine who given Jones' leg nerve injury, and DMo's spine/back issues. Capela should've been getting attention for what he did in 2014? Really? He's gotten over his nerves and is playing tremendously better, but his frame still hasn't filled out enough to defend other 5s. And Jason Terry is better than Nick Johnson because Johnson isn't even on our roster.
But the offense in Houston isn't meant to do anything other than get Harden off, and its been like that forever.
The offense is meant to take advantage of an open court by playing with pace, and optimal shot selection. Harden walking the ball up the court, dribbling until there's 4 seconds left on the shot clock, and then passing it off to a team mate to shoot a contested 3 isn't what it's supposed to be about at all.
By etiolation Go To PostI felt the post-Melo Nuggets bought in, but they didn't really have the talent to go any further.hard to be when a hof coach is on the hot seat before he got a chance
In a way, this is Rondo and Cousins trying to get Karl involved. My criticism of Karl being disinterested early on still holds. He has started to become more active. He just didn't look interested in coaching early in the season.
