By Fenderputty Go To PostThanks for looking that up. Man, those 10's are brutal'10s are basically what the 2000s would have looked like if Duncan and Garnett had been massive busts :P
By Sharp Go To PostFWIW: best years by center-forwards since 1984 (Hakeem's rookie year) by BPM (it excludes KG sadly, so I manually spliced in his best years). Thanks for this sharp, it's quite informative.
'84-'89 was Hakeem (5), Ewing (1), Robinson (1). '90s was Robinson (9), Hakeem (5), Shaq (5), Webber (6), Vlade (3), Duncan (3), Garnett (3), Mourning (1), Grant (2), Kemp (2), Daugherty (2), Sabonis (1), Miller (1), Manning (1). '00s was Duncan (8), Garnett (8), Shaq (5), Wallace (5), Pau (3), Webber (2), Camby (2), Nene (1), Dwight (1), Robinson (1). '10s so far is Noah (4), Marc (2), Duncan (2), Cousins (1), Pau (1), Davis (1), Dwight (1), Gobert (1).
Net results are 7 '84-'89, 44 '90s, 36 '00s, 13 '10s. 2000s was actually a lot better than I remembered, but '10s have been awful. It definitely seems like it's a product of "most of the promising center prospects got hurt" moreso than "traditional centers don't belong in today's game." Pray for KAT.

By CRUD Go To PostHere come the Hawks.Wait, Lawson is good now?
Put Lawson back in!
By Sharp Go To PostWait, Lawson is good now?
Hes's been great tonight.
The Carmelo-KP two man game has been awesome. Looks like the stories of them working out together and Carmelo working with him weren't stories, they continue to have excellent chemistry.
By unknown Go To Postdam lopez really beastin tonightIt's nice.
Lopez having his best game on Defense and offense as a Knick. Funny thing... he's still doing all the boxing out things that are costing him boards, but that's limiting Drummond's effectiveness on the glass. Drummond only has 7 boards.

I wish Charles Barkley could read you and rip you a new one.
By PSYCH! Go To PostI am sad/happy that a 19 year old rookie is our defensive anchorLet's be real for a second. Looking at the Heat team the best defender going by pedigree is Deng, but injuries has really sapped most of what he was though he's still ok. Whiteside isn't that type of defender who shuts his own man down. Wade can be good in spots. Looking at the rest of the roster and going by what we knew of Winslow, if he wasn't the Heat's best defender it meant a) Deng recaptured his Chicago Bulls form b) the Heat would've been in trouble.
By Gabyskra Go To PostI wish Charles Barkley could read you and rip you a new one.I wish Kevin Seraphin was 1/25th the player Barkley was. Looks like we both aren't going to get what we want.

Boxing out gets you boards. It's not something you do that means you sacrifice your own numbers.
By 3SidedPolygons Go To PostAll the calls that Williams gets on his drives - Melo never gets those calls. Nuts.yea even lance thomas.
By Gabyskra Go To PostBoxing out gets you boards. It's not something you do that means you sacrifice your own numbers.I'm not sure he's talented enough or realizes he can do both. He did the same thing in Portland and it was kinda annoying to watch at times. Dude would box out, and the rebound would fall to the floor 2 feet from him and he'd just look at LMA.
JESUSFUCK DAYUM DWILL!!!
EDIT: Reverse Tomahawk dunk? Must the that time of the season he beasts for like a week and turns back into utter feces.

Knicks playing well. Tons of passes, cuts, and screens and they're actually making their shots.
That buzzer beating Williams dunk had like 7-8 passes leading up to it.

Knicks walking the edge right now... as good as Williams is playing Porzingis has to come back. Can't sit Lopez and have Porzingis guard Drummond.
Love that center opposite flash to the FT line for the high low whenever the post player on the ball side is fronted.
Classic Triangle automatic.
Knicks were losing in the first quarter - getting cooked by the 3. Fish called timeout and the team started switching pick and rolls. Knicks been in control the rest of the way.
But Fisher doesn't make adjustments tho

By Moris Go To PostOne thing I like about Knicks commentary is how Clyde always sounds like he's smiling. He never frowns. Even the Bargnani 3 chuck in Milwaukee he was smiling.
