By knux-future Go To PostPeople get desperate come the deadlineSpeaking of, you want Tyreke for another two second rounders?
By reilo Go To PostThat's so sad.
What happened to Portland last FA is sad,
What I said is just a reality
It's still sad. You can deflect all you want, but nobody really wants your players in a straight up trade for any value.

You can't say that they got a 1st round pick for Tim Hardaway?
By Zeus Ex Machina Go To PostYou can't say that they got a 1st round pick for Tim Hardaway? It's not unheard of to get a late first round pick for a double-digit scoring player entering his third year in the league that's making $1.25mil a year. But Kevin Seraphin ain't that at $3.9mil.
Also, let me remind you that you selected Jerian Grant to replace Hardaway.
By Zeus Ex Machina Go To PostYou can't say that they got a 1st round pick for Tim Hardaway?
Someone on P&T said "If the Hawks cut Hardaway, can the Knicks sign him and then trade him to Atlanta for Schroder" - was pretty funny.
Knicks haven't lost more than 4 straight games all year and Reilo thinks they're about to go into a 13 game losing streak.
Be like 2-3 wins shy of your projected total at this point - Reilo trolls you. But in the same breath he thinks 13 straight losses is as likelywith a straight face.
No Winslow tonight, sprained ankle but will play tomorrow.
Tyler is finally back from his shoulder injury though, our bench has missed him.

The only .500+ teams the Knicks have beaten in their last 20 games are the Bulls at home and the Thunder without Durant all the way back on November 20th.
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostButler hated by his teammates?naw, we can do better.
Beal, Porter, and a 1st
hibbert, nick young and Randle for Butler.
who says no?
But I'm the one that's delusional that thinks the Knicks can't really hang with their next 6 games being against .500+ teams with 4 of those on the road after they just lost 4 straight to .500+ teams by an average of nearly 11PPG.

Eh.. the Bulls FO?

his contract is a 2.8 expiring. That works with a shit ton of rookies, good, bad, and so-so he's on their pay scale.
Also maybe because Portland got blessed with Lillard who came in a phenom your ignoring the reality that it takes time for a lot of PG's to become decent or better in the league. He plays D, has legit PG handle, is 6'4 and can drive. All he needs to do is to learn to shoot if left open and he should be a good PG with a decent career.
The knicks won that trade.
Fivethirtyeight is projecting the Knicks at 32 wins, FWIW. But it may be weighting last season too heavily.
Hornets at 44.

By Face it Tiger.. Go To PostEh.. the Bulls FO?
fine, throw in Lou Williams.
but that's a damn good offer sheet.
By K@do Go To Postlmao wtf
and a few moments later….
Also, fun fact, not a single one of the Knicks' next 6 opponents is playing the Knicks on the second of a back-to-back.
By Zeus Ex Machina Go To Posthis contract is a 2.8 expiring. That works with a shit ton of rookies, good, bad, and so-so he's on their pay scale. You're right it's $2.8mil not $3.9mil, but it holds not much value given how much the cap is gonna explode. The Wizards didn't even bother extending him.

By DY_nasty Go To PostWOW @ MJ giving Kobe a shoutout. Awesome stuff
Enjoyed him telling him he didn't have it mentally at first though
By reilo Go To PostThe only .500+ teams the Knicks have beaten in their last 20 games are the Bulls at home and the Thunder without Durant all the way back on November 20th.
Whatever your reasonings and justifications are - we'll wait to see if they lose 9 straight. If they don't, you get trolled. Deal?
By pilonv1 Go To PostKobe leading the team in assists is hysterical
Why? He's their best playmaker by a massive stretch, other than maybe Marcelo.
By pilonv1 Go To PostEnjoyed him telling him he didn't have it mentally at first thoughlow key shade and hidden daggers
lbj was never built for this
By reilo Go To PostAlso, fun fact, not a single one of the Knicks' next 6 opponents is playing the Knicks on the second of a back-to-back.
It expires next season, not this year. It also holds not much value given how much the cap is exploding this summer and next.
Reilo, every media source has it at 2.8 for 1 year. Which is why it has value to teams with no space this Playoffs.
Why is this an issue?
Seraphin is a 2.8 expiring contract for teams who want to add big man depth going into the playoffs that isn't a long term commitment.
By 3SidedPolygons Go To PostWhatever your reasonings and justifications are - we'll wait to see if they lose 9 straight. If they don't, you get trolled. Deal?I didn't say they'd lose 9 straight, I said that the likelihood is high:
By reilo Go To PostReading is hard. Like, if they went 1-9 or 2-8 over the this 10 game span (4 current losses plus the next 6 games), you don't get a damn cookie lol.By 3SidedPolygonsIf they lost the next 9 games straight - they'd still be on pace for 28 wins. Math is hard. And they just might!
By DY_nasty Go To Postlow key shade and hidden daggers

That is literally the mentality he is talking about on display. When its Kobe's turn to do it for LBJ I expect him to basically say "you was never built for this, shout out to wade"
By DY_nasty Go To Postgo on realgm and somebody tells me that tyreke evans is better than batum
*sigh*
I really like Batum, the only player who gets less shine for what he brings is the Greek Freak
By 13MillionDollarMan Go To PostMuch as Gaby shits on Rolo your backcourt is what really needs some work ASAP.
It's not the backcourt. Galloway and Afflalo are fine. I think Afflalo leads the league in mid range %. He's just in a small shooting slump. They need an upgrade on Calderon. As I've said a million times - George Hill or someone like Avery would be a godsend. ~40% from 3 with a significant defensive upgrade takes away soooooo much of what plagues the Knicks defensively right now.
Then they need a backup for Afflalo or if they're lucky - Batum to come to NY and move Afflalo to the bench.
By Zeus Ex Machina Go To PostReilo, every media source has it at 2.8 for 1 year. Which is why it has value to teams with no space this Playoffs.Name me someone or something that the Knicks can get for Seraphin that actually makes sense from a playoff team looking to make a run.

By pilonv1 Go To Postdy - Al is coming off the bench now? He's still bothered by the calf injury (he fat and out of shape fukkin up his own money)
and I think Batum kinda shitting on him is a sign that Al's done for a while too

You really going to "reading is hard" when I said "lose the next 9 games" and you responded with "4 current losses and next 6 games"?
C'mon son.
John Schuhmann @johnschuhmann
Lakers haven't held a lead in the last 2 hours, 3 minutes & 43 seconds of game time.

vs. LAC: 48 min.

Sixers, by the way, have not had a 2-game stretch in which they never led.

Here, I even screenshoted it for you so it's easier to comprehend:

We're not gonna hear the end of it this season.
Also, pilon sux.
By Sharp Go To PostJust ended if so.They are in the midst of 4 game losing streak and their next 6 are Pistons, @Bulls, Hawks, @Hawks, @Heat, @Spurs (none of these teams play the Knicks on a second of a back-to-back). They've beaten two .500+ clubs in the last 20 games: Bulls at home without Pau Gasol and Durant-less Thunder all the way back on November 20th.

By Adam Blade Go To PostAlso, pilon sux.
You can have your soul back when you beat us in a playoff series
Knicks are beyond trash. They need to scrap that trash ass try-angle offense and simplify the offense. KP needs to stop rushing his shot and stop going up to the rim like Andrea Bargnani.

They've beaten two .500+ clubs in the last 20 games: Bulls at home without Pau Gasol and Durant-less Thunder all the way back on November 30th.They've had some close losses during that stretch and their point differential isn't projected to be below -4. They're going to win some games they aren't favored in. Pistons' point differential is barely positive. I'm not saying a nine game losing streak is impossible, just not likely.
